I just love orange on my dog and this really brightens him up. He is a Rottweiler mix so the orange tones look beautiful next to his beige features and the little bit of white in the collar breaks up his mainly black coat. The value of it too is what I loved. My dogs go through collars so fast.

Our canine companions, Penny and Megalodon, are decidedly unfashionable. Unlike some pampered pooches sporting sweaters and vests, their wardrobe is limited to essential accessories – collars. But these collars are more than just identification tags; they're statements of personality and a way to celebrate the seasons. We have a festive collection – St. Patrick's Day green, a jolly Christmas red, and even a subdued Hanukkah number. Recently, it was Penny's turn for a new collar. We wanted something that reflected her sweet and loving nature, and the ONEFOJOJO Blue Dog Collar seemed to fit the bill perfectly. The collar itself is a sturdy combination of strong polyester and durable nylon buckles. This translates to a collar that can handle the occasional playful chomp from her rambunctious younger sister, The Meg. We all know the destructive power of a puppy with an inferiority complex, so durability was a key factor in our choice. However, durability needs to be balanced with practicality. We have a washing machine, and we intend to use it. This is especially important with a light-colored collar like this one. Penny, bless her heart, has a tendency to roll in anything even remotely interesting, so regular laundering is a necessity. Thankfully, the ONEFOJOJO collar seems to hold up well in the wash – no color bleeding or fraying after multiple cycles (and trust me, there have been multiple cycles). But a collar is more than just a pretty face (or, well, a pretty blue neckband, in this case). It needs to be functional. Penny is a strong dog, and we often use a heavy-duty leash during walks. The good news is that the collar's hardware feels substantial. There's no fear of her slipping out or the buckle giving way under a strong tug. For us, it's a 4-star product. It's a great choice for a dog who needs a comfortable, durable collar in a classic style. The bright blue color is a cheerful pop, and the cleanability is a major plus. While it might not be the most feature-rich collar on the market, it gets the job done and looks good doing it. And for Penny, that's all that really matters.
