Would have giver the filter 5 stars but the rubber tube did not fit in the unit. Luckily I was able to use the 3” metal pipe from the cold air intake this unit replaced. Had to cut several inches from the new pipe and bought a 3” coupler to connect the two. Piece of cake.

This is an example of cheap foreign manufacturing. The ends of the filter are poorly adhered to the filter media. Mine fell right apart, thus no air cleaner! Luckily I caught it right away before my engine got destroyed by sucking in dirt. IF you buy this I would look for a better quality air filter and not trust the one that it comes with. ... show more

Easy to install, and cutting the included silicone boot in half, I was able to reuse my OEM MAF section of pipe with this one. 2004 Ford Focus gained about 5mpg. Big jump since the Focus uses a "lifetime filter" which gets plugged and eats efficiency. $500 for OEM filter replacement, or this... this is was, amd it is working well. ... show more

Looks pretty good and the filter seems to be well made. I tugged on the edges to see if it was flimsy but it held up. I did have to cut the aluminum pipe and get a 2” - 3” adaptor to fit my tiny car. Good value for the money

It doesn’t seem to clear certain areas in my engine bay and the tube still had metal flakes in it when I received it the filter after the first use became loose and wasn’t the same. The looks are OK but I don’t recommend save up for a better version.
