I’ve always loved Pilot erasable pens, especially the multi-colored sets. They write super smoothly, the colors are vibrant, and the fact that you can erase ink cleanly is such a great feature — perfect for notes, planners, or anything where you want to keep things tidy without using white-out. One important thing to keep in mind is that the ink erases with heat. The friction from the rubber tip generates heat to make the ink disappear — but that also means it can vanish if the paper is exposed to something like a hot car or a hair dryer. PRO: Dark colors are visible, differentiated, & (except black) erase well. Great for calendar & better than ink + White Out or colored pencil + eraser or pen + highlighter combos I've tried in the past. CON: Bummer that black doesn't erase well: it smears (even when erased w/ other color "erasers"). Light colors don't show well for writing purposes (but may work for art or +/- "highlighting"). Yes, will purchase again for use in calendar. I think I'm going to oust black from the repertoire cuz I can't seem to find a work around for smearing when erased. All the colors erase SO WELL that they're worth jeeping as a system. ... show more
