This MAONO Podcast Microphone Bundle, USB Programmable Computer Mic for PC with Boom Arm and Professional Sound Chipset for Singing, Recording, Streaming, Gaming, YouTube (AU-A04E) Pink is quite expensive at $60. Nevertheless, I really like that it comes in the color pink, also it is just the microphone. The arm is white. The sound it produces is pretty nice, where I can make videos efficiently.

Updated review on Jun 21, 2023 After my initial review, the company reached out and let me know that they're in active development of the Mac version of the Maono Link software and offered me a full refund. I love a company that cares about customer satisfaction! I went ahead an ordered another mic product they offer, the MD30 and it DOES work on Mac with the Maono Link software. It also has a live monitor headphone line which is a really valuable feature. I may switch back to the AU-A04E mic to test the audio quality but it sounds very similar to me. I'm really happy with the MD30 and recommend it to everyone now. ==== The Amazon listing and the box both make it sound like Maono Link is available for Mac but when you go to the website it make clear that the software is not available for Mac with this mic. That's pretty misleading. The sound quality is pretty good, but not being able to adjust reverb, etc. is pretty disappointing.

This has been attached firmly to my desk for months. I think for the price, it's a good value for the arm, mic, and pop filter. Pretty good recordings too. No issues so far!

I was highly drawn to the bright combination of pink and white that perfectly matches the aesthetic of my desk, so I decided to give this a try. Since my primary purpose for a microphone is gaming, I don't have too many specific demands as long as the sound quality is excellent and my voice comes through with clarity. I also needed a boom arm as I have been using other USB microphones with a desk stand. Having a boom arm really frees up my desk space and cables. It's very annoying how I sometimes bump my mouse into the mic stand. Installing the arm on the desk is a fairly straightforward process, as you just need to tighten the clamp onto the desk. It took me a moment to figure out the proper way to route the cable from the microphone to my PC. There's a specific order in which you're supposed to begin snaking the cable through the arm, but I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out. The pink microphone appeared larger in the pictures, so I was slightly disappointed initially. However, once everything was assembled, it actually looked incredible on my desk! The microphone is simple, no rgb and no buttons on it. The only feature I wish it had on it is a mute button since I often need to mute myself quickly and frequently. To test the sound quality, I asked all my gamer friends on discord to provide me feedback. I sounded crispy clear. I attached the pop filter and they all said I sounded better without it. A pop filter is meant to reduce the popping sound the mic makes when we speak into it too hard. I guess I should really test it when I'm playing games, in the heat of the moment I may scream hah. It also would have been better if the pop filter attachment was 100% white to match the arm. So I'll have to paint it some time. Maono is a promising microphone brand that I have come across, offering what I consider pretty remarkable technology and designs at a reasonable price. I'm already looking into getting another microphone from them but this time with RGB.

I was intimidated at first when buying this because I know nothing about these things, but it was actually very beginner friendly, and I had no problems with setting it up and actually using the microphone. Made very well and the sound quality is way better than I was expecting. I have no complaints on this product and am very happy with it.
