I can hear the whistle. I tried adjusting the tone but I can hear it at every level. Humans are not supposed to be able to hear a dog whistle. They're supposed to emit a tone of around 35,000Hz, which is indiscernible to humans, but piercing to a dog. The dogs do not react in any way to this whistle, but it's annoying to me. This whistle did absolutely nothing to stop my dogs from barking. It Makes a high pitched whistle that I can hear and my dogs were not affected at all. Do not waste your hard earned money.

The whistles have no silent setting at all. It is a piece of junk. Does not work as it description claims. Save your money.

Have done all we can to adjust these whistles, and they are always audible. The dog stares at us a little, but only to signal her reasonable annoyance.
