First good thing about the pillow- I didn't detect any weird smell, but I still aired them out for 48 hours before using them. I would say these pillows are on the soft side. I normally sleep on a firm pillow, so I was surprised when I was still able to get a decent night's sleep on these. The pillow sinks considerably when your head is on it, so if you're a taller person with a broad build this pillow may not suit you. I did not find this pillow to be cooling, but it doesn't trap heat either like memory foam does. These are horrible. I was shocked receiving these as they look nothing like the photo. The fill is uneven and the pillow are flat. My king pillowcase is swimming over the top of the pillow because it's small and so flat.

These are slightly below average pillows. The price is low but the quality is low also. They come EXTREMELY vacuum packed- two queen pillows come in a box slightly larger than a standard shoe box. They do not fluff out well. I don't know if the extreme vacuum seal impacts their ability or just the quantity and quality of the fill materials. Either way these pillows are quite soft and flatten easily. They aren't very comfortable and don't expect to last very long. However, I do feel these are comparable to what the big box stores offer around this price point. I would spend more money and get much higher quality pillows. But if you just need some cheap new pillows for a guest room or camping trip, etc, these would be just fine. Overall, I think these are inferior products even if they are inexpensive.
