Update: To get better resistance I use BOTH bands and wrap them around each other 3 or 4 times. As stated in the title I am 6-1 so unlike everyone else under my height I didn’t have the problem with the bands being too long. However, like other reviews state the resistance wasn’t enough for me and did try with both bands and it sure didn’t feel like much at all. I know it’s not because I’ve been working out for a long time because at this point and time it’s been a week since I started anything! I know my strength isn’t “THAT” built up hahahaha. Pros: Easy to assemble Good for my tall self Cons: Not enough resistance Hard to disassemble…as pictured I tried. Pushed in the buttons couldn’t get it apart and tried to gently push back the pink foam only to tear it. Used clear packing tape to secure it and keep it from further tearing Recommendations: Once assembled accept its assembled and store accordingly Ideal for someone on the taller side Not a lot of resistance consider looking for separate and compatible bands or going elsewhere entirely

I’m 5’6 3/4 and the bands were still pretty long with me. Kinda made it difficult to get a good resistance on them. It was tricky but I had rolled the band around the bar a certain way to get resistance but it often would unravel because of the ends having a “swivel” mechanism

The only issue I have with this product is that the hooks that attach feet to bar......you cannot tighten the straps at all even by putting the bands around to make it stiffer because there's nothing to stop it from just going in circles! SUPER ANNOYING

I like everything about the pilates exercise stick except the resistance bands need to be longer. I can't take the exercise stick above me head when stretching because of the resistance bands not being long enough.
