Has worked great for a few weeks now. No issues. A few months ago, I bought a similar style kids safe, but a different brand. It didn’t last 1 week before the motor stopped working and the combination kept defaulting to 0000. My 6 year old son was very disappointed. This safe seems to be better made and lasting longer. He also likes the different music it plays. I had no idea that was a feature, but I guess that’s just icing on the cake.

My daughter is 6 and we are trying to teach her to save money. This was the perfect bank for a great price. Does require batteries but instructions are clear. It is easy to set a password up. My daughter thought that was the best thing to enter her password code and open the door. Does have sound but I think it can be switched off.
