I purchased these to apply light in a darkened hallway in my house. With the magnetic backs and 90 degrees L brackets for hanging, there are limitless possibilities for these. It comes with 2 remotes, that are pre-packaged with I assume flat disk batteries. The remote is more than simply a portable ON/OFF switch. It also allows you to change the light from Warm White to a more prestige Clear White. It also allows you to set the light to turn off after a select amount of time in increments of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes and finally 120 minutes in order to save battery life. You may also set the brightness of the light manually, at 50% and 100% with a button press. As well, there is an on/off switch. These would work well down a flight of stairs, in a darkened corner, perhaps a laundry room, under cabinets,etc. I can't vouch for their durability outside but have had zero issues inside. Love the lights, but the cables that comes with the lights charge at a very low amperage. Use better cables and you will charge them faster.

What we love: The size of the lights, their brightness and that they have several LEDs while other competitors only have a single LED. We also love the convenience of having more than one option to mount the lights, and above all, that these lights are rechargeable. What we like: These lights can be turned on/off and change colors by pressing the dome. In the photographs we have uploaded you will see these lights at their lowest brightness (first photo) and at their highest brightness (second photo). What we think could be better: The remote control, while functional, requires you to be super close to the lights to operate the lights. In conclusion, we think these lights are an excellent option for those of us who do not like punching holes in the walls, or simply do not wish to install anything permanent. These lights are affordable and they have a good battery life. We have been able to run ours (with light use) for over one week without needing to recharge. ... show more
