After using these for about 2 months I got used to it, they’re quite good. I played with a top level product, you can see the difference. This one is good for the money, for beginner/medium level it’s perfect.

Solid construction, good carrying case

I ordered this set after taking a lesson last year, but haven't had a chance to play until now. This set was perfect for the day! Two paddles, four balls and a handy carry case. I joined a rather seasoned group of players, and wasn't sure if my set would look like a cheap beginner set or amateurish compared to what everyone else would have, but this looked like everyone else's gear. I got a good reaction from folks with the Problem/No Problem graphic on the paddle as well. The paddles were in bubble wrap and the handles wrapped in plastic so they were in pristine shape for first use. The paddles felt comfortable in my hand and made for easy play (my skill level is a work in progress though!). The construction felt sturdy and durable. I was really impressed with this set - like I said, I thought it was possibly going to be a cheap starter set, but it is on par with what everyone else I was playing with had. The fact that you get two paddles and two sets of balls with the case makes this a very sweet deal!

Late to the trend, our family finally tried out pickleball this past summer at a local court. My wife particularly enjoyed it, so I got her this set as a birthday gift, and it’s ideal for our casual needs starting out. The set came with two paddles, four balls (two outdoor, two indoor - though I had to search online to understand the difference), and a neat little travel bag. The whole set is very compact and easy to transport. The paddles seem to be well-constructed, although the design is definitely on the corny side, and they meet the certification requirements for the USAPA, which didn’t seem to be the case for many sets at this price point. The balls and the bag seem similarly well-constructed, and I just really liked the overall look of the set. Given our novice ability level and very infrequent usage, this set covered all the basics without breaking the bank.
