I was looking for a gold step ladder that I could use in my new kitchen. My 3 step was not tall enough to get up in my cabinets cause they are so tall. It folds up completely flat and I can store it on the side of my cabinets perfectly. It is light weight and easy to fold up and carry. Disclosure: I received this product as a gift.. Summary: a ladder that excels in saving space and weight while still offering excellent reach, while sacrificing some comfort and utility for those who will be spending a lot of time on the top rung and looking upward. If your needs fit the niche that this ladder specializes in, it is highly recommended; others may need to look elsewhere. We have a lot of stools in my house, mostly single-step stools for my children to reach the sink. But I use three-step ladders for a variety of projects, from light tasks like regularly maintenance-cleaning the filters in my mini-split air conditioning systems to heavier projects such as replacing the ceiling fans throughout my house. Living in a two-level house that feels crowded with children's toys, a lightweight ladder that is easy to carry up and down the stairs and that folds to be compact is a critical household item. Prior to the Miscoos, I was using a Gorilla-brand three-step ladder for my indoor ladder, and this will serve as my comparison. The price is about the same (as of this review, the Miscoos is slightly cheaper), but the features are a bit different. Despite both ladders being three-step and offering roughly the same height (the Gorilla is very slightly higher), the Miscoos is significantly smaller in size. It is also incredibly light - roughly half the weight of the Gorilla, which might be thanks to the use of aluminum. And whereas the Gorilla's frame is metal and plastic is used for the steps, the Miscoos steps are also aluminum with grooves for slip prevention. The Miscoos easily wins when it comes to portability and storage. In usage, I find that the Miscoos is a bit less comfortable to use than the Gorilla. My shoes size is anywhere from a 8 to 8.5 US Men's (depending on the brand) and I can't quite get my entire foot to fit on the step - there's a little bit that hangs over. The steps are not offset much from each other, which necessitates that I slide my feet onto the step rather than stepping as if it were a staircase. I feel entirely stable on the stool, and this is probably something that would feel like a non-issue once I got used to it, but it's a consideration worth noting. The top step is something that deserves its own paragraph. I am used to steadying myself against a ladder when I use it. With the Gorilla ladder, which has its own little utility tray, I can lean a bit on the tray if I need to. With the Miscoos there is nothing there, leaving you to ensure that you don't lean too far forward or fall off. For most household tasks this is a non-issue, but if you're doing something at the ceiling - such as changing a ceiling fan or a light fixture - and you're looking upward most of the time, this could be a safety hazard. Ultimately, I feel that this ladder can be strongly recommended to a specific set of people, and receives a more lukewarm response in other cases. If you value something lightweight and that takes up minimal space, yet still offers tremendous reach, then this ladder is well worth the cost. It is pleasing to look at, as well, which never hurts. Yet if you're looking to something where you might be spending more than just a few minutes at a time on the ladder, feel the need to steady yourself when on ladders, or might be engaging in more heavy-duty projects, then this ladder is not an optimal choice. I struggled a bit with whether to rate this ladder 3 or 4 stars. Given that I do some heavier house projects, this is not the type of ladder I would want as my sole indoor ladder. It feels a bit too specialized. Yet thanks to its size and weight, I foresee myself using this ladder for the majority of my indoor tasks requiring greater reach than a single step stool can offer, relegating my Gorilla ladder to those projects where I'll be standing on a ladder for minutes to hours at a time. In that manner, if your ladder needs are right, this ladder represents an excellent choice that I can recommend.

The media could not be loaded. This little gem has been great around the house. It folds into a slim profile to fit into narrow storage spaces. It is a good height for many inside jobs, such as changing light bulbs, reaching kitchen cabinets, or hanging artwork. This has lasted well, and supports a higher weight limit than many other lightweight ladders.

We needed something to make it easier to reach stuff high up in cupboards and shelves in the kitchen. This is perfect for us! I also wanted something lightweight and easy to store in a closet. Again, this meets both those needs. It feels really solid when standing on the steps and I like that the steps are quite wide. And I like the rubber feet on the bottom to prevent it from sliding out under you. Great buy! I’d recommend it if you need something like we did.

Very easy to fold and unfold. Very strong and stable when unfolded. Nice and compact, folds up to a small thin assembly for easy storage. Seems very well made and I expect it to last a long time.
