Disclaimer: My rating system: EVERYTHING starts at a 5, and goes from there. I thoroughly read the descriptions and if I don't like the description, I simply don't order the item. If the product shows up as advertised they get a 5. If there are unadvertised flaws, they are duly noted and stars removed accordingly.... that being said: These work great! I'm always a little nervous when I detach the camper from the truck.... What if it starts rolling?... Not anymore, because I slide these into place and voila the trailer says put They are ready to adjust, and you don't have to apply much pressure to get them to work...just snug them up and the tires grab making these super easy to use. They come in a nice storage bag for portability. And if you j have a flexible shaft for your cordless drill, tightening and loosening these is even easier using the supplied attachment. That being said, make yourself a note to remember to take them out before trying to move the trailer. Fortunately I didn't forget. But do remember to order these if you have a tandem axle trailer that you want to stay put after detaching from the vehicle. A great value for peace of mind while you park your trailer. ... show more

A frustrating aspect of owning a camper or RV is trying to stabilize and keep that thing from moving once you get it in place and level. I saw several folks using what appeared to be a scissor jack setup on theirs and were having great results. Started talking to some of them and they recommended this style of “wheel chock stabilizer.” Here are my thoughts: The stabilizers arrived quickly. They were packaged well and come with the pair of stabilizers, the ratcheting tool, a ¼ drive socket adapter for your impact drill and a nice carrying/storage bag for it all. It did not come with instructions, but if you are looking for this, you already know what it does. Installation was a breeze. As you can see in the pictures, I was skeptical and used the traditional chock as well, but I can say with absolute certainty that these guys ABSOLUTELY shore up your camper! The ratcheting tool is great, works well and is reversable, like a ratchet wrench. I did not use the drill adapter. Absolute game changer. I wish I would have known about these sooner! These wheel chocks are lightweight and easy to maneuver. The feel well made for the price point, the mechanism works smoothly, and the ratchet wrench works fine. I use this as an adjunct to other chocks when on unstable ground prior to disconnecting my trailer. I do not like to apply too much pressure between my tandem axles. The supplied 17mm socket will not work a drill on my application because there is not enough clearance either in the wheel well or to the pavement as noted by my pictures. For about the price of a couple of cheap triangle shaped wheel chocks, the kind you wedge under your tires, you can buy these dual-wheel tire locks. These wheel locks actually "lock" the wheels and prevent them from rolling further. This means you don't have to wait to see where your trailer or camper actually stops when you let off the brakes. These will only work with two-axle trailers or campers. They work by exerting force against the two tires making each act as he "brake" for the other. I find this to be much better than wheel chocks that invariable allow the trailer to move when the truck brakes are released. This is particularly useful when the trailer has one side higher than the other and is being supported by jacks to level it. Not moving helps keep from having my leveling jacks twist. The jacks are operated by using the included ratchet tool to be pressurized them against the tires. The tool makes it easy enough although using a battery powered ratchet wrench is even better. The jacks are made from heavy steel and seem to be sturdy built to last. They also come in a set of two with a carrying bag big enough to hold both jacks and the ratchet tool. In addition, there a dandy little handle built in that makes the jack easy to hold in place while you jack it tight. As far as I'm concerned, if you have a two-axel trailer, this is as good as it gets. What a great idea! ... show more
