I received today and have not yet installed. However, I note the glass is sealed to the frame, the construction is sturdy, the finish is fine. I expect better water resistance than my current similar lamp. For example, the finial screws in through a rubber bushing. Very pleased so far. I note the top is hard to tell that it is aluminum and not plastic, but sturdy nevertheless. ... show more

    • Works well once attached but definitely needs a deeper mounting pocket!

Of average quality but happens to be the same style that I had to replace. The portion of the fixture that meets the wall needs to be about a1/4 inch deeper to keep the sensor from pinching the supplied metal mounting bracket. This is my major concern as it took me several attempts to make sure that it wasn’t being damaged when trying to get the fixture snug against the siding. Extra care is also required when replacing the bulb as the mounting screws a can be easily dropped. The old fixture had longer threads and a larger thumb stew that was easier to remove. The dusk to dawn feature works well so I’m pleased with this feature. ... show more

We bought a new light to replace our 23yr old back porch light. we didn’t read the full directions and you should because there’s a feature that is light activated so you can keep the porch light on be it’ll come on automatically at night and shut off when the sun comes up. We kept changing the light and bcs it was daytime(so it was off) we didn’t realize we need to cover the feature at the bottom so we know the light is working. 🤪 ... show more
