I own a small business on Etsy and I used to print out shipping labels on my crappy old printer, cut them out, and tape the labels to my packages and had never considered a dedicated label printer until I saw this adorable one on Cyber Monday. I always thought shipping label printers were clunky and took up a lot of useless space but this one is really nicely designed, compact, fast, and isn't an eyesore in my home office. All I can say is if you own a small business - run, don’t walk, and buy it asap. Super easy to set up, just plug in the USB flash drive they include in the box into your computer, and stored on the flash drive are tons of tutorial videos, printer drivers for Windows and Mac, and they even include their own label editing software called Labelife for you to use (which is also really user friendly and easy to navigate). They even include a USB C adapter - it's the little details and thought they put into this product that impressed me enough to want to write a review in the first place. Also, I didn't realize it came with a label storage stand that you can use to hold your labels LOL. The only thing I wish was the color of the stand they included was all white like the printer I bought (the stand is black). But honestly, it doesn't bother me since I never planned to use a stand anyways as I prefer the fan-folded labels. However, I can see how the stand would be helpful if I had 2-3 differently-sized labels that I consistently needed to swap out and use. I can't wait for more orders to come in so I can start using this label maker with them! There was another review where a fellow Etsy shop owner mentioned you can go to Settings > Shipping Settings > Shipping Label Options and chose the option to "Format my labels for 4x6 Label Printers" - absolutely do this, great tip! ... show more

Easy to use great quality. I was having trouble with the software started to email customers service didn’t finish the email. Sent it blank and they sent email back asking if I had problems. Definitely buy again.

I've had this printer for several years now but from the beginning, it has constantly had issues. Unfortunately I didn't use it before the return window passed due to starting a new business, I was in the process of buying all my equipment (in hindsight I should have tested it out at least). Now I've been stuck with this printer that's completely useless, each time I try to print something the feed eats too many sheets or it just doesn't "fit". I don't even know to how to describe the issue but I definitely did everything I can to search on the internet about the certain dimensions and EVERYTHING. I even try to feed it one slip at a time (2x2 round labels) and (4x6 shipping labels)... it takes it the first second and then doesn't feed through after. It's extremely troublesome, I've hesitated to buy a new one for the past few years because my business doesn't require using it enough to justify spending another $200 for a thermal printer... Extremely unsatisfied. DO NOT BUY (unless there's a newer model, maybe it's better now). ... show more

**Update** The company sent me a new printer and it worked great!! Easy to setup and get started with. Also made a couple different labels and can't wait to make more stickers for my business! The printer arrived and looks just like the picture. It's cute and I love the color. It was quick to setup and start. The driver was easy to download and install. Looking up the videos to watch how it works was convenient and quick to find, so I appreciated that. Unfortunately it arrived with a damaged print head, so I messaged customer service and they were quick to respond. A new one is being sent out and I will update further once received. ... show more

I purchased the Phomemo Thermal Printer to be able to print shipping labels on demand, the Phomemo Thermal Printer was priced well and had the features I wanted. The positive aspects of this printer is it’s size and compatibility with my MacBook and the available color choices it can be purchased in. The biggest draw back was the installation instructions, they seemed very straightforward at first but when I got to the third page of the booklet it had a webpage address that was supposed to have the software needed to connect the printer to my computer which I circled on the picture. After a quick search I found that the webpage link was a ad link to a HP website? The actual place where I found the software needed was at Phomemo website support section not the website found in the booklet. The software also is only for connecting the computer to the printer no labeling templates are included for making print samples, so I google searched for a sample of a USPS label to test print a label. So overall I would give the Phomemo Thermal Printer 4 stars since it requires a little more time than expected or necessary effort to setup. ... show more

I was struggling to unwrap the label from the roller. The customer service agent was so patience with me. I am an elder and could not get a good grip on the paper. He was encouraging and step by step he helped me unwiggle the paper, set up the drivers, print out my label, and never once failed to answer my questions. This little printer is just the right size. not heavy and loading is simple, no heavy lifting. The print is dark enough for what I need. He helped me download the app, explained how to use it, walked me through printing, saving and I know I can do it by myself next time. Great support guys! if I could figure out how to put a picture here I would. I recommend this for anyone who needs a label from time to time or to label everything their craft room or workshop. ... show more
