I've had this bike for about two months now and so far, there have been no major issues. It's fairly easy to assemble, don't listen to the ones complaining about the fender brackets, etc. I had zero issues other than yes, they do take some effort to line the holes up but that's because they are under some tension because of the way they are made. What I LOVE about this bike is, I live in a very hilly area and I can easily ride up steep hills with no effort just using the electric alone. And I can get around 30-35 miles riding in these hills rarely even pedaling due to my health issues. In flatter terrain, I've ridden as far as 40-50 miles and still had plenty of battery power left over. Depending on your weight, wind, speed, pedal assist and terrain, I would say about 40 miles max distance in hilly riding and I think you could easily get 60+ miles safely on flat ground, considering the afore mentioned aspects. I changed a few things on mine to better suit my riding such as the handlebars and the stem which holds the handlebar. I changed to more swept back handlebars because the straight ones which come on the bike were not very comfortable. Also, the stem was not adjustable and it has the handlebars too far forward for me. I bought an adjustable stem off of Amazon and installed it with the swept back bars and it is so much more comfortable to ride. I also took the seat from my old ebike and replaced the one that comes on the bike simply because it is more comfortable for me. The only problem I had was the LCD did not work properly but the seller was easy to contact and they sent me a new one out very promptly. If you need or want a quality, strong and powerful ebike, this one will do the job for certain! And I have asked the seller a few technical questions and they have responded very quickly and seem to really care about the customer having a good experience. Overall, I am well pleased with my purchase! 8-27-23 UPDATE: My LCD got moisture in it from getting caught in the rain while riding. I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one quickly! The LCD getting moisture inside isn't typical because my previous bike's LCD never got moisture in it and I've ridden it in the rain a few times. I'm sure this one was probably just a random defect because it's stated they are waterproof. As I've mentioned, do not be afraid to buy this bike, you'll love it, it's powerful and has a really great riding range. Since I’ve never had a E bike, I don’t know much about them. Therefore, I wanted to buy it from a company that has a proven track record of taking care of their customers. I’m really glad I did that because the first bite they sent me was break it down on me or it wouldn’t even get going. The furthest I got with it was about 3 miles before it broke down. The energy bar went to zero. So the first one I got the front tire was flat. It had a slit in the tube it broke down on me. The headlights didn’t work in the rear brake didn’t work. This company had no problem taking back the first bike. In fact I liked it so much that I didn’t want to wait till they received the defective bike before they sent me the new bike so I want to head and bought the new bike tomorrow. I will ship back the defective bike, so basically right about now I owe two of these. Anyway, it’s a blast at all’s ass. I live in a very hilly place up in the Rocky Mountains. Nobody rides bikes here. I wonder what people think when they look in the rearview mirror and they see a bicycle on their tail. When I first moved here, first thing I did was buy a road bike and I figured out real quick. It wasn’t going to work or going from point a to B. I basically only rode it around the lake I live in Estes Park Colorado. I may be put 25 miles on it and it’s been sitting in the garage for the past decade dormant. I grew up riding bikes as a kid. I’ve always had a bike and I’ve been my mid 60s. I’m really glad I figured out. There were bikes that were electrical. I didn’t know that until I saw a guy here riding one and I asked him about it and I asked him you know how it did in the hills and I don’t know what engine what lot motor he had. He said he did fine. So the bike I purchased is all-wheel-drive it has two motors 1000 Watts. It has 4 inch wide knobby tires. I don’t think I’ll be riding it much in the snow but I got a figure being all wheel drive with those tires. It Hass to work. I’ll have to wait a few months to find out. I love the bike it is very high tech and in the past I’ve always researched something for hours before I bought it. In this case I bought the company and I was really glad they sold a highly rated bike. I highly recommend this company. I can't tell you enough how much I love this bike!! It's the 2nd best thing that I have EVER ordered on here. It's also my 2nd ebike that I have ordered from Amazon and I honestly wished that I had the opportunity to order this one first! It was mostly easy to put together (like 85%). If you have a garage with all the right equipment, this bike will most likely be super easy to put together for you. I will say, it comes with everything that you need to put it together, so even if you don't have your own toolset, there's no need to worry. I didn't use the tools that they sent. I have my own bike tools, however a bike holder or extra set of hands would've been nice to have. Anyway, the ride on this bike is awesome!! It says that it can go 35mph, however I've been able to max it out at 32mph. Cruise control is awesome, it's definitely my best friend on this bike. The phone charger is not really a charger with the newer phones. Basically what ever percentage your phone is at, the bike is going to keep it there. I think it's 5V/1.5mA,but don't quote me on that. Just know it's not powerful. It used hydraulic brakes, however I scanned the instructions and I couldn't find when it's a good time to refill the fluid. Just know that you'll need to buy a kit or make your own sometime in the future. In my pics, the mirrors are straight up, however you can bend the mirrors with your bare hands. I do wish that it came with signal lights, but that is something you can buy separately. I hope that my review was detailed enough. I really do enjoy this bike and if this company were to make an updated version, they already have my money. ... show more

With a new E-Bike Model from this Company, there was not much industry info I had to go on beyond blind-faith in moving forward with them (after all, I knew Amazon would be there in the back-ground to help out if needed); while the fact, that my research showed, for an AWD, 48v E-Bike along with 21 speeds, etc, that the delivered price was decent. Assembly was pretty straightforward with just a couple of issues, where I needed help or clarification from the company. They have good installation videos online and will even make specific ones for you, should you have a particular operation question, etc. Just as important, the company was very quick to replace and send out any items that we deemed to be defective (either before first use, or during the few months of experience) that I've gained while riding this E-Bike. Their kind of responsiveness can be hard to find these days and has been appreciated! All in all, I would strongly recommend this bike to anyone interested in this type of E-Bike. It's a reliable performer (quite fast and powerful) that won't let you down. Additionally, you'll get plenty of comments by those who see you on it and even while parked; while the Philodo folks are definitely there to support you throughout.....via email interactions. Had this bike fir a hood while I’ve put about 200 miles on it is a really nice bike iv had a couple minor problems with it but nothing that I even had to take to the shop to fix the power is pretty good I thought it would had a bit more kick to it but it starts pretty slow but once you gain alittle bit of distance it does take off over all I am very happy with this bike I wouldn’t recommend it for a first time rider I’d say it’s more of a 2nd or 3rd e bike rider that wants a bit more speed up hill it goes about 29mph and down hit it really picks up to about 32 without pedal atm my back break does not work not to sure why but it’s just been weird it’s just like a normal bike it does need semi usually work and tune up’s and shit like that but over all it’s a very nice bike I really love it ... show more

Just got this bike, it’s amazing but I didn’t know there was an error code right out of the box. Tried to change setting thinking it was set to funny setting because I wasn’t able to see odo. Few hours in a went to the manual, to find out then, that it’s an error 008 which is throttle. I’ve tried everything to find info on how it fix it but it’s very limited. Unplugged all cables to refit them and make sure they are fully seated and they are. Still same error. From what I can use, it’s an awsome bike but for the price tag I’d expect it to work right out of the box. Update- customer support is awsome, got ahold of them and they help diagnose the issue. They are sending a replacement part to fix it. I’ll give another update when it arrives. Last update- that part didn’t fix the issue so they send a new bike to replace it! FIRST - DO NOT order this bike if the inseam of your pants leg is under 32 Inches. I'm 5'10" and I can just barely ride this bike with the seat all the way down. Also, if you can't throw your leg over the seat (which at its lowest point is 32 inches off the ground), the you better get a step through frame. I ordered two of these for me and my wife and had to return the one for my wife because it was simply too tall for her 5 foot tall body to ride. Now that all that is out the way, THIS BIKE IS F A S T I got it up to 45 MPH on flat pavement and didn't even have the max setting on in the configuration. I'm 5'10 and weigh about 165 pounds. It's got a lot of power and I absolutely love that. The real bummer is the government. Some State governments have laws that prevent you from owning this bike - and I'm trying REALLY HARD not to let you know how I really feel about modern government. But the politics, stupidity, and corruption aside this bike is really fun to ride. It IS a little difficult to put together in certain places, and I did need to enlist some help to get the back fender and basket on, but it wasn't complicated. I'm NOT a fan of the seat and will probably get a bigger softer one and a seat shock absorber, which you can buy aftermarket. The front does have shock absorbers in the front fork suspension with a lock, but the rear has no shock suspension, which would have made this bike a even better for off road or bumpy terrain. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase. It's a little pricey, but considering you get two 1,000 watt motors, I think its worth it because its better have more power and not need it than to need it and not have it. ... show more

Had this bike for a few months now. The bike has plenty of power and goes together nicely. Just follow online video tutorials. Had the Aventon Aventure before this bike which I liked but company never had batteries and the bike wasn’t very good at climbing hills with its single 750w motor. I’m a big guy weighing in at around 250lbs at 6ft tall. I can easily reach 30 mph on this bike on full battery but that speed isn’t really necessary but it’s nice to no it’s available if needed. I was stopped by police and questioned about the bikes dual motors and was told I can’t EVER ride on sidewalks or bike paths. I’m ok riding on the streets and MUST follow all street laws. By aware of your city ,state , Township rules on e-bikes. I’ve since dropped the Max speed to 28mph/class 3 in the settings and that made a Huge difference in battery usage and mileage. I’d also like to mention Philodo E-bike company as a whole is one of the most responsive companies I’ve ever had done business with. They are prompt on returning emails if you have ANY kind of issues. I’m glad I made the decision to sell my Aventon and buy this AWD Philodo H8! ... show more

I just st bought this bike and have 20 miles on it. I bought this because it was rugged and powerful enough to haul my 6’2” 300# butt around. On roads, it hauls me effortlessly and seems very well built and designed. The CONS are that putting the rack and front fender on requires a masters degree in engineering!! Hint: do not tighten anything up until all the screws are started in the frame. This allows you to shift and bend the fender to fit a bit. There is no room for the cell phone holder on the handlebars with the supplied mirrors. I ended up buying a center bar phone holder and velcrowing the USB charging port to the handlebars after sealing it up with silicon. I can’t really comment on off road use but it handles paved hills with ease and certainly doesn’t struggle with big guys. Eventually I’ll swap to road tires. Good bike! Fits my needs. Needs a more extensive manual. Moderate + learning curve. ... show more

I have had this bike for a couple of months now and dig it. So powerful. I ride to work on it each day, taking a 9.2-mile commute down crowded Denver streets with ease and confidence. The big tires, the beast of the two engines, and the hydraulic brakes give me the confidence to follow the bike lanes through the Denver Tech Center into work. I swapped out to a new seat and suspension seat post - a game changer and makes a huge difference in control and comfort. Although the bike comes with a free pair of rearview mirrors, they are difficult to keep in place on the crowded handlebars. I added a different rearview mirror that installs in the handlebar grips. if getting out of the gasoline car ownership commute hassle, get this beast and you won't look back, except to maybe change lanes. ... show more

Two issues: First let me say for $1800 it is pretty good but, 1. I don’t think it is really 2x1000 watts 2. the range is far less than advertised 3. the gear ratio is not designed for exercise but, 1. it is a fun bike 2. the way it does work is quite good 3. you might get 20 to 40 miles but, 4. the last one mile up hill is very hard 5. it is a very heavy bike. …. In conclusion .. I like it anyway! (P.S. I had a problem with the battery at first but it seems to have resolved itself.) ... show more

I definitely love this bike better than. My first ebike. I ride it every day to work and back. Just remember it bigger and heavier than some other bikes. Im 6 foot 1 inch and have struggled to get on this beast from time to time. I do suggest doing an researching a proper second battery modification. Other modifications can wait as it comes with good pedals rather than cheap aluminum ones and side mirrors. I can right on one battery charge across Brooklyn and back but then it time to charge again. Pedaling to get up to speed helps save battery life for such a trip. ... show more
