    • Fantastic Batteries -- Never Going Back to Alkaline!
We go through a lot of AA batteries (and we do use rechargeable batteries in some devices), so I was really excited to try these. So far, I have used them in game controllers, flashlights, remote controls, mini surveillance cameras, and in a portable shaver. Since getting these batteries and starting to use them three weeks ago, I haven't had to replace a single battery yet. This was most surprising in the game controllers where I typically have to put new batteries in about every two weeks. But even with consistent use, the batteries are still at nearly full capacity! These lithium batteries are also much lighter than alkaline batteries, and that is going to be a nice upgrade to the HAM radio I carry when I go hiking. Another REALLY nice feature of lithium batteries is that they are not prone to leaking and damaging devices if they are left in them, especially if the device is kept in a car where it can get extremely hot in the summer. These batteries are about 2.5 times more expensive than name-brand Alkaline batteries, and so far they have lasted at least twice as long. If they truly do last 7 times longer than an Alkaline batteries, then these lithium would be a FAR better value, especially considering that they are lighter and will not damage expensive electronics due to corrosion the way alkaline batteries often do. WHAT's NEW: A pack of 24 1.5 volt / type AA lithium batteries by Philips. WHAT's NICE: The lithium does bring longer life span, most noticeably in devices that consumer power at higher levels / more quickly. WHAT's NOT: In something low-consuming like a remote control, you may not notice much difference in longevity. FINAL THOUGHT: The intention for the lithium batteries is to be longer lasting in devices that typically use more power. That's something these Philips AA batteries definitely deliver. ... show more

    • Nice to have on hand
Everything seems to take batteries these days, so it is always nice to have a bunch on hand. I like how these are packages as I have bought bulk batteries before. Those ended up falling out of the containers and mixed with ones that may have been previously used. So far so good, these seem to be working good and hopefully lasting long. They are a bit on the high end for price but time will tell if they are worth it. ... show more

These are lithium AA batteries that are comparable to Energizer lithiums. The price of these are on the upper scale of batteries of this type. As they are marked as lithium, they are supposed to last much longer than your standard alkaline batteries. I've just opened the package and put 2 pieces to use. I will post an update once they get depleted so that I have a way to compare them to the standard energizer lithiums that I've been using. So far from the package, these have a long expiration date and when I plugged it into the device that I'm using these for, it is working fine. ... show more

    • Worth the price for your high end needs
These are very high quality, and needed for higher end electronics. These also last forever, and in some items that are hard to replace the batteries a necessity. These are well packaged, and well made. I have not had any issues with any of these I have used. We recently used them in an RC car for my son, and they lasted more than twice as long as our normal batteries. I may not use these for everything because of the cost, but for some things these are necessary. Overall I highly recommend. ... show more

    • So Far So Good for these Lithium Batteries
Got these for my home's auto locks. So far they seem to have longer capacity than normal AA batteries. Also, used a pair for Xbox controllers to see how long I they would last with constant use. About 10 hrs in with gameplay, haven't had to replace them yet.

Disappointed. Especially with all the high reviews. Maybe I received an old set. Lasted maybe 2 days on my August lock. First four batteries I thought maybe bad luck. But when I replaced with another four from the same set…same issue. Went to large well known supply store bought their brand alkaline batteries at half the price. Worked like a charm. ... show more
