Since they are metal I keep them out of the water unless in use so that don’t developed a rust stain in my pool a precaution. The setup is a bit challenging but with patience and following the instructions the second chair setup is much faster as you become the expert. I was a little leary about ordering these chairs based on some mixed reviews. I'm hoping my experience clears a few things up. First, I went into this purchase expecting horrible instructions and a terrible assembly process. With those expectations and armed with years of previous assembly experience I was pleasently surprised. Yes, all the hardware will come in two bags (1 for each chair) with no identifying info besides a poor chart of parts on the front page of the instructions. But, once you organize your hardware into like piles, you'll find there are only 2 different length bolts, a pile of washers, and few nuts. So, even with poor instructions (and I've seen worse) it's not hard to figure out what goes where. One piece of advice the instructions give which is very helpful, is to NOT tighten anything down. If you do, the remaining assembly becomes much more difficult. Leave all the hardware very loose upon initial assembly and you'll find the whole process fairly easy. First chair took me 20 minutes. 2nd chair 10 minutes. Table 5 minutes. The chair is modern, stylish, low to the ground, and very comfortable. The aluminum frame makes them both sturdy and lightweight, which is a nice combination. I find then very easy to move around based on whether i want sun or shade. I could see anyone with a wider frame body or anyone who has a hard time getting up from a low slung position not liking these chairs as much as i do. My wife and i are in our 40s and both in good physical condition, so these chairs give us no problems getting in or out of them. These chairs work perfectly for us. We use them on the sundeck inside the pool. They are VERY low to the ground with no arm rests so getting in and out of the chairs could be a challenge for those with mobility issues (or on their second margarita!). We love them for keeping cool while getting sun and enjoying a drink. They are very lightweight which makes them easy to move in and out of the pool. I can stand on the pool deck and lift it out of the water with no problem. So far I have seen no rust issues but the table will float away if it doesn't have something on it so just keep your margarita glass full! ... show more

The adjustable pillows are really nice, however, the foam inserts are not protected from the elements and deteriorate quickly discoloring the cover and looking pretty nasty after a year. They should consider a sunscreen protective poly cover so that they are up to the true nature of pool elements.

They look great and comfortable. Packaging was good. Instructions clear and no issues putting the chairs together. The required tools are included but I would recommend using a rachet with a 10mm socket or driver to save time. Also a hex socket #5.

The 'standard' and 'oversize' chairs are the same lengths - both made for people with shorter upper legs. The 'oversize' is wider and 2" further off the ground - easier for getting in and out and, when shoes are off, my feet aren't hitting the ground. For a tall-person workaround on either size, put the pillow under my knees. standard: 32" back height, 14.5" upper leg length, 22" lower leg length to edge & 26" to ground oversize: 32" back height, 14.5" upper leg length, 22" lower leg length to edge & 28" to ground standard: 19.5" seat width, 6.5" height of lowest part of seat off the ground oversize: 22.0" seat width, 8.5" height of lowest part of seat off the ground The 'standard' and 'oversize' tables are the same size, but a different top design: the 'standard' is slatted and dries faster and the 'oversize' is solid with a stamped design. The 'standard' and 'oversize' pillows are the same width; the 'oversize' one has a longer strap. Love the overall design, how the arm-rests don't stick out and how they hold up well outside over time. We've had the 'standard' size for about 4 years. They still look great, maybe slight fading. On the underside, there is a little bit of rust on the hardware. This year, we purchased the 'oversize' chairs. The most recent purchase had darker stitching which looks much nicer. There was a manufacturing issue on the most recent chairs. Internal parts got in the way of a screw-hole on the right side of each chair back. A workaround was to open up the hole with the hex key provided for assembling the table, screwing and then unscrewing the screw through just that part, and then assembling per directions. Directions diagrams have issues - labeling an extra nut and not clearly showing where part J, a little plastic ring, goes - probably between the arm and back frames. Please make a version for actual tall people and also a version for kids. ... show more
