Like all other HUE products the price is a little too hefty, but it works. The brightness and colors are what you'd expect and it operates and automates like you'd expect as well. I used it for a little ambient lighting behind the headboard of the bed in the master and it looks great. I guess my only complaint is the mounting options. I'd like to see a more vesatile and secure way to mount it other than the 3M strips. Me, I just held it up where I wanted it and ran screws through the base to secure it to the wall. Had these for for about 4 years now and they still work great. I have used them for a couple different things since but right now I use them for under bed lighting and they look great! Though be aware these are not going to create an even lit look, if you are looking for more even lightibg across a wall or longer distance look at the hue light strips instead. ... show more

Price is the only thing that bugs me. But it works seamlessly in the Hue environment. Still these lights are a bit pricey. I love how the lights change for certain games and also they are very flexible in terms of color and hue.

The media could not be loaded. I love the light. But the problem was I ordered 2. Granted I went cheap and went for the "New condition " lights. One came packaged well, all the things listed on the box was with it. THE other one, it had the light, and mounting bracket. No power supply. And based on the complete one, missing another optional one. Also the box was beat up, and the light didn't work. I use the other power supply. I thought these were tested and everything was included, except maybe instructions and stuff like that. Had to send it back. And apparently Kohls won't take returns with this item. Had to go to the UPS store. But on a plus side, they came within a day. ... show more

YOU NEED A HUE BRIDGE! If your buying this as a singular light I suggest buying the 2 light bundle plus the free hue bridge as you get the whole set. I bought this a while ago and was disappointed that I had to pay more money. Bur just look at the colors of the lights yourself and judge how nice they look. 10/10 recommended buying the starter kit bundle first ... show more
