I recently took possession of a 2008 Grand Cherokee. After driving our other 2 cars that have modern LED and/or HID headlights, the lights on this Jeep left a lot to be desired. I did some research on the forums and discovered that with a couple spots of trimming on the tabs, these bulbs would fit in the stock headlights and produce much more light. Not wanting to spend hundreds on a HID retrofit I took a chance on these and I'm glad I did. I purchased the 9012s for the low beam and the 9011s for the high beams. They are much brighter than stock bulbs and make it much safer to drive at night. The power draw is the same as stock, so you're not overloading any wiring with these. If you drive a WK Grand Cherokee or XK Commander, I high recommend you look into these. ... show more

Only buy these if you're looking for 9012's to "spice" up an older car. The crystal ones just look nicer, but barely throw any light. These throw a lot of light and still look stock. Just make sure you clean your housing up so you're not blocking light or diffusing it all over the place.

Plugged it in and turned on car and light shone. It turns off too. Wow, what an invention. Seriously, it is a light bulb. When put in the right way it works fine. Make sure you don't touch the glass part, oil from your fingers can shorten the life of the bulb as it gets hot. there is plenty of metal to hold onto. ... show more

First I wanted to do an HID upgrade because I understand most cars LED is a better option but Camrys, with their awful projection lenses are one of the few vehicles that make HID>LED a better option for most drivers... I bought some Morimoto elites and paid 200 bucks when it was all said and done. Then after paying for install we find out one of the lights turn off. Instead of giving replacement product I decided to just get a refund because I waited almost 10 days for the original parts to arrive from Atlanta, It wasn't gonna go to a slow process again re replacements.... this is when I read about the H 11 H9 conversion that some people have been trying to get brighter headlights with... I figured with each headlight in $10 at most it's worth the risk... What resulted was bright headlights, with zero high beam flashes from other cars. I'll never considered a high cost upgrade for my headlights again. The simple H11 to H9 conversion/Modification is perfect for cars with protection lenses. it just takes a few clips and snips, then you'll be right as rain.🤓There are several how to videos on YouTube I suggested taking a look... ... show more

It is scientifically proven that standard halogens at ~3400K color actually put out more Useful, focused, glare-free light than "go-fast awesome LED HID look super hyper blue blind everyone else it's all about me" bulbs in halogen housings. To be fair, over the years I've tried early PnP HID kits, later "digital" kits, high performance halogens (light blue tinted and untinted), and late model LED drop-ins. Ultimately I returned to these. The last set I had lasted 4 years/70k until 1 high beam went (60% of my driving is night driving). The price is very reasonable. The life is 2x-5x vs go-fast bulbs. The output is OE quality, with proper light cutoff and no glare. I added a set of 100w (each) halogen driving lights wired to high beams to get max high beam output. Now I have the pleasant yellowish white color temperature back, no glare on low beam, and high output natural color halogen on high beam, that doesn't blind me like the blue tints did reflecting off signs, etc. ... show more
