Iput this on my dock in fla. i sprayed all the pieces with clear to help delay surface rust. i also sprayed wd 40 in side the rail before assembly. it is sturdy with lottsa room for 2 adults.it was not too hard to put together just dont tighten all the screws untill its together! some patience is needed. be carefull not to cross thread any of them! ... show more

    • Love bench..but came with a lot of scratches!

I really love this bench. I think it's pretty sturdy too. My only problem with it was that it had quite a lot of scratches all over it. It was packed well so it wasn't from the way it was shipped it handled during shipping. I probably should've returned it but I had a lot going on at the time and allowed the return window to expire. This isn't perfect, like a couple of pieces don't quite align and it had some chips in the paint that rusted immediately. It's also more maroon than red. However, a coat of rustoleum spray paint and it looks great! It's lightweight and easy to move but also stays put in windstorms.
