I got a queen size for less than $20 for taking the weird rust colored one. Nothing in my bedroom is matching so I don't care, it's cheap, I have beige walls, it's autumn so it's all good. This is two layers sewn together. Decent quality stitching, when I tugged on them I felt like I could maybe tear the seams if I used all my strength, maybe not, so personally, that's good enough quality for me, for the price. The two fabrics are also a decent quality for the price and weight. Soft velvety on the rust side, the white "sherpa" on the other is like laying in a cloud. It's so soft and so lightweight, I'm so happy with it. I get really hot when I sleep. Sleeping naked and turning the fan on while my husband is under the covers. Somehow this blanket helps me. I still throw it off, but only once a night. Yet it keeps me nice and warm now the temps are going down. I might need another light blanket in the midst of winter, unfortunately my bedroom is only heated by a small electric heater set on low which I turn off overnight. I haven't washed it yet, I'm always worried about them in the machine. This one I will use cold water on a delicate cycle and wash it separately, then for the dryer I'll do 1 or 2 quarters on medium and finish off on low. So to me, this is a good medium quality product, the one where you don't want to spend all that money for the expensive one but you want something that's still good, which is exactly what I was looking for.

I really like this coverlet/blanket. The emerald green velvet is beautiful, and I got the matching pillow cases for a comforter "set" look. It could really be used year round I think depending on your temperature preferences. I did buy the King size for my queen bed . I recently went to an 18" tall platform bed, and this hangs down far enough to cover the mattress and bedframe. All in all a great value for the price and a nice addition to my bedroom decor.

I am one of those ones who need air blowing in the room to help get my core temp down. but so many blankets have trouble keeping the air flow out, but not this one * Keeps you warm without burning out of the covers * Resists letting air blow through * both sides are so soft you can't make up your might which one you want to snuggle up too * Washing wasn't too difficult to do at home. Cold water on a gentle cycle, and dry on a low heat. - Cats stole my blanket, you will be buying 2 of these so be prepared

...where I live just isn't consistently cold enough in the winter to use this blanket every night. Its very, very warm and for me, that means on 30-40 degree nights, I might break into a sweat when using it. The blanket is warm enough to stand alone when its really cold, no other blanket was needed on top of it. I am going to continue to test this blanket out and see at what temperature it works best, because it is an awesome blanket. I am thinking it would be perfect in the teens and zero degree weather. I washed it out of the box and there was no shedding at all, which alone deserves 5 stars. I have had blankets shed constantly to the point where I had to trash them. I was afraid this one would do that and was a bit hesitant about buying one with Sherpa material, but it does not shed or pill at all after washing.

My adult son burned some holes in the throw I had on the back of my couch for times it got chilly. So I picked this to replace. I'm happy with my purchase. I absolutely love this blanket... so lush, soft and yet warm and cozy. I cannot say enough positive things about, it in fact I went and brought another one just now. Highly recommend. 8/20/2022 I am adding to my original review. Since purchasing my first or second blanket, I have since ordered five of eight and I can tell you, I could not more highly recommend this blanket It is just perfect. No matter which side you decide to lay on, it is so comfortable, pretty and inviting. I just love it. I have ordered sheets to match the blankets just because the blankets are that wonderful. I use them under my bedspread, and I simply could not be happier. Highly, highly recommend.
