I was amazed at how bad these were based on the reviews if I could give zero stars I would. They are made out of what looks like the doctors office pillow covers you know the ones they just throw away after each use. Two of them didn’t even have enough stuffing to fill the pillow and those that do are so flimsy. So far so good I bought them to go into my 18x18 pillow cases and they fill them out very nicely. They are comfortable...if they loose their fullness I'll update later so if there aren't any updates then so far so Great.

Let me preface by letting you know what I look for in a pillow insert: I want FLUFFY. I want to throw myself down on these gloriously fluffy pillows at the end of a long day and have them smush, contort, and comfort every curve on my body. Then, when I'm done relaxing, I want to be able to pick those babies up and fluff-punch them until they bounce back into their original, gloriously fluffy shape. I want THICK pillows. Pillows that I can wrap my arms around a squeeze, or use as a bed tray, or rest my head upon, or use as a lumbar support. I expect that having these pillows filling your pillow covers would feel very similar to a couple pieces of folded up cardboard duck-taped together. I promise to *try* to be less dramatic from here on out... after all, we are only talking about pillows. Now, I will say, I wasn't as careful in reviewing the details of these pillows before I ordered them, so I'll take that responsibility. I was looking for feather down, or down alternative, pillows for my living room... that is NOT what these are... it's also not what they claim to be which, again, is where I take responsibility for not being more careful in reading the description. That being said, I couldn't not leave a review for these.. they're just that bad. So I was looking for feather down or down alternative, as I've already said, so these pillows clearly weren't going to meet my expectations. HOWEVER, these pillows DO NOT look like they do in the pics on Amazon. If they were filled to the brim with the polyester fill, as in the pictures, I would think one would be very happy with this product. Sadly, that is not the case, as you can see in the attached pictures. All four corners on EVERY pillow (4) has a gaping area that *should* be filled with polyester, but is not. The pictures on Amazon also give the impression that these pillows will be so stuffed that they'd *probably* be about 5 inches thick, which is absolutely not the case; these pillows measure roughly 3 inches thick, hence the "flattened pancake" description in the title. When purchasing pillow inserts and pillow covers, the general rule of thumb is that you get a pillow insert that is two inches larger than the pillow cover that insert will be going in... for these pillows, they *may* adequately fill a pillow cover that is FOUR inches smaller than the insert, but I honestly think that would still be lacking. Don't spend your money on these pillows, unless they decide to fix their quality control issue. ... show more
