  • Hasn’t fallen apart yet!
Flew it through two full battery charges so far and it is holding up just fine in my opinion. We’ve had some solid wrecks straight into the ground multiple times and l the only damage so far is a propeller broke, the front of the plane seems to be slipping so I think I’ll try and tape it. The wheels have a piece of plastic that snaps onto the little metal seals that broke off the plane has no more wheels at this point. Doesn’t matter because we don’t know how to land the thing any how. My 5 year old son has tried it a couple of times and flies it right into the ground. I seem like a pro until I don’t and fly it right into the ground. That’s my bad and not the planes. Cool little plane to get your feet wet and have your kid jumping up and down acting like he’s shooting it down. In fact, maybe that’s what we’ll try next…shoot it down with a nerf gun or BB gun! ... show more

  • Great plane for kids and adults.
I bought this for my 12 year old son. He really enjoys flying it on calm evenings with me. I was surprised how fast he got the hang of it. We have had a few harsh landings in the grass, but no nose dives. It seems to be pretty durable. Its still flying great after many runs! This thing is a blast to fly. I would recommend extra batteries for sure. Its big enough to keep your eyes on it at a distance , but small enough you can take it anywhere with you.best for park and field flying. It has a switch on the top to adjust flying lvl from beginners to advanced. ... show more

  • Make sure you adjust before flying and you will need extra propellers
To be honest it took a little bit to get use to even with the beginner mode, but the main problem was getting the movable parts (trim or rudders sorry im new to this) set right. Once I figured that out it flew pretty good. I can tell you one thing though for sure is that the blades or propellers dont pop of like they should and they are not very strong, I broke 2 of the 5 before I figured out how to fix the problem with them movable parts, and it was mainly the tail one that causes the plane to go up and down. But my advice is to put it in expert mode to adjust them first and make sure you do them all, even the ones on the wings to make sure they are level and then kick it back into beginners mode if you are a beginner. It's a little fast for me as im just learning but its manageable once you get the hang of it. Now back to the blades/ propellers. I feel like they are a little fragile, there was times where I felt like I didn't come down that hard and the still broke instead of popping of. To be honest they never popped of once, it either stayed intact for a few runs or just snapped a blade off. Out of the 5 I have one left with about maybe and hr and a half of flying time. The batteries seemed to last for about 10 to 15 min but I bought 4 more so I would have some time learn. To sum things up it flew well after I figured it out and it looks great. The plane itself feels pretty strong and the control of it feels like its right there. My biggest problem is just the propellers being pretty fragile. Im going to look on amazon here to see if I can buy stronger propellers, either way I need more since I only have one left. All in all im okay with what I paid for it. It took some good falls and held up well besides the propellers. I will try to add a video of it flying next time, this thing takes both hands to fly unless you know what you are doin. ... show more

  • Good quality at a good price
Bought this for my husband. He absolutely loved it. Very sturdy and so much fun. Has taken a few hits and still works.

  • Prop Saver is worn out after two flights
Great little plane--easy to fly, ready to fly right out of the box (after charging) Now that bad part: after flying it two different times, the prop saver seems worn out. It no longer holds the propeller in place, causing the propeller to fall off at take-off. It comes with one extra propeller that includes this piece, but it's concerning that after crashing into grass two different times that now it can't hold onto the propeller in place. This greatly concerns me because this wasn't a cheap item. Hoping the company can contact me regarding this so I can avoid returning it. I love the plane and would like to keep it but am definitely going to need more propellors with prop savers if I keep it. ... show more

  • Great plane and lots of fun.
Tons of fun and relatively easy to fly if you've flown RC before. I have been flying RC planes for 30 years and I no trouble with this one. My son doesn't have nearly as much experience and he picked it up fairly quickly. Make sure you are in beginner mode until you get the hang of it. I mistakenly tried to fly in expert mode before I had it trimmed out and it was very difficult. The prop saver and the plane itself are very durable; the landing gear...not so much. In fairness, I was flying in my front yard with lots of trees and the the branches took out the gear. I would suggest flying in a big, open field unless you're very good. I hit several trees and landed on my roof (inadvertently). Not the plane's fault though; I was flying in a very confined space. Overall, tons of fun and no assembly required. ... show more

  • Difficult to control in flight .... High potential for loss of model
I carefully read the instructions and followed them precisely, but I found the aircraft extremely difficult to fly — even in “beginner” mode. To stay airborne, the plane requires a very high propeller speed, which results in an exceptionally fast airspeed. This speed demands near-instant flight corrections, making it hard to control, especially for novice pilots. Compounding the issue, the ailerons have limited range of motion, making elevation changes sluggish and unpredictable. I flew the plane in a large open field (approximately 500 x 500 feet), but even with ample space, I struggled to keep the aircraft within the boundaries. The product videos showcase impressive high-speed flight — but that’s the only speed this model seems capable of. Else it loses altitude and falls to ground. This characteristic led combined with the aileron made it exceedingly difficult to fly. In short, I caution potential buyers: this model is not beginner friendly. The combination of high speed and limited control increases the risk of losing the aircraft entirely. If you're new to RC planes, you may want to consider a more stable, slower-flying option. Overall, I am disappointed by the product. ... show more

  • Flies great!
This is actually manufactured by Volantex Rc, says so on the box. Just rebadged as Leambe. As with all the current Volantex planes, it has the 3 position stabilization and 1 button trick features. I have not flown an RC plane in 15 years! Back then you spent more time repairing than flying. Back then, I was into GSW foamies, especially warbirds. They were a challenge to fly, the Leambe P40 is so much easier! Once set up and turned on, I set it on the ground. Calibrated the xflite, flipped it to beginner, then punched the throttle for takeoff. Lifted into the air with easy, trimmed it at 70% throttle while circling the field. Let go of the sticks and it leveled itself out. Came around for a landing, those are still the hardest part. Luckily, with the epo foam, pop off prop and light weight, it takes a beating. I would have just dumped it in the grass, but the church field is a foot tall right now. The only time I crashed while in the air is when I put it in expert mode. Not ready for that. Very happy with the purchase and ability to get it into the air relatively easily after not flying a plane in over a decade. The current technology is amazing, it allows you to fly easily and bump up the difficulty as you get comfortable. I see more and larger planes in my future. ... show more
