These pillow inserts are OK, but I'm not sure I would say they are truly great. The packaging was something of a problem - they were shrink-packaged together in one bag, so tightly that I was afraid I would cut one of the pillows just opening the package. Once it was open, of course each pillow was individually shrink-wrapped. The pillows did immediately begin to fluff up, which was nice. However, if you are looking for really firm pillow inserts, you might want to try something else. In addition, the stuffing does not fully fill the corners of the pillows, and this causes an issue when the pillow is put inside the pillow cover. The corners of the pillow are not completely filled out. All of that said, I will not return these because I was able to find them at a time when Amazon was offering a special price, so I thought it was a decent value for the money. Also, I don't typically use throw pillows, so these won't get a lot of use. I just needed them for some Christmas covers that will be out on the couch for a short time. If I were to use throw pillow on a regular basis, I would probably spend a little more and get a better quality, firmer pillow insert. ... show more

You will just love these pillow inserts … really !!! I ordered a set of two pillow inserts to put in two 18”x18” pillowcases that were gifts for my grandsons. When these arrived they were very tiny and I thought I had received an incorrect item! Turns out they were compressed, but they came with thorough and easy instructions. Even I could follow the directions … and I was amazed !!! And then I just stuffed them in the pillowcases. They were a perfect fit, looking like high end pillows from a fancy place! I was more than extremely pleased … as were the two grandchildren 👏👏 The beautiful pillows were soft and fluffy, while keeping the intended shape. Couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase !!! IKEA has a great selection of 20x20 pillow covers, but the pillow inserts they offer are terrible. They are thin, flat, and made with feathers (if you’ve ever read how pillow feathers are “harvested” you probably now have nightmares about it). I purchased the 22x22 insert size for the 20x20 IKEA covers and they are great. They aren’t as plump as I was hoping, but they are the right balance of soft and firm to be comfortable and supportive when I stack two, and they fluff well if you need them to look nice too. ... show more

I didn't realize how small these would look on our bed. I bought some cute covers for them as well. I love the look just not the size. The pillows fill in the insert well. I do with they were slightly fuller. They come in a vacuum sealed bag. They do return to their original size fairly quickly. Like I mentioned I am not a huge fan of the size on our king sized bed. I have bought several of these and I like them. They have all come filled pretty well. I just use them as inserts for my decorative pillow covers. They don't get much actual use. But, they have a soft, yet firm enough, quality to them. They are somewhat flat when they arrive. So, fluff them up with your hands, and/or, in the dryer for about 5-10 minutes (on a LOW setting). Nothing I didn't like. Not hard at all to shake the flatness out of these inserts when they arrived. Actually took me less than 5 minutes each, as I timed it both times. I ordered these inserts to be the same size as my pillow covers because I needed these 2 (for the couch) pillows to be firm. I'm 5'2" and when I sit on a standard couch, my feet don't touch the floor. Sitting for short durations, I can slide forward away from the back rest or sit sloppy diagonal. If I'm going to watch a movie or do computer work; I need 2 firm couch pillows to push me forward and support my back away from the back of the couch so my feet are able to touch the floor preventing onset of mid and low back muscle aching. I will definitely order from this company again for all my pillow insert needs. ... show more

These 2 18x18 were bought as additional back comfort pillows for an office chair recently purchased. They arrived within 2 days of ordering, wow. Came vacuum packed flatter than pancakes into separate sturdy see through bags. But not to worry, upon unsealing the bags, they started to expand. Written pamplet accompanying them, called "Fluffing Instructions", recommended five minutes fluffing time. I can't be the only one who finds that cute.
