These pillows come vacuum packed in a tube. They fluff up dramatically when removed and left alone for a day. So much so, that I, a side sleeper, immediately knew removing some of the stuffing would be necessary. I removed a plastic grocery bag (packed to capacity) worth of shredded foam. It made an immediate and pleasant difference! But, I’m pretty sure, after removing foam and making ‘room’ in the pillow, that it fluffed up a bit more overnight! So, I’m going to remove even more foam. I’ve actually slept well on it for two nights and am excited to have the ability to finally get a pillow just right. My neck is often sore (I’m 53) and pillows never seem to support me very well. So far, so good; and relatively inexpensive to boot! Would recommend if you have a love-hate relationship with pillows in general. ... show more

I ordered these pillows and had them within 2 days. I’ve been having neck and shoulder pain when I wake up in the morning. I’ve used these pillows for 2 nights now and so far they are very comfortable. No pain when waking up. They are very nice and seem to be of good quality for a decent price.

Very firm, haven't taken fill out, I think this is better for my neck. What I didn't like is the smell the first 2 nights. They had a very strong chemical smell, reminded me of nail polish, actually burned my nose, and throat, but it is going away now, and I think it just needed airing out, but I was too anxious to try them out, so my fault. Not going to take away a star for that! ... show more

The memory foam is awesome. But yet pillow is still firm. Very comfy pillow. Only reason for 4 stars is the zipper on the pillowcases...I got these yesterday and the zippers were immediately catching. Hopefully they don't break quick.
