There’s usually not much to say about throw pillows, and this time is no different. The pillows come packaged in a vacuum sealed bag, which means you’ll want to let them breath for a day or two before using them to get rid of the smell. Once fully inflated, they have a good mount of cushion in them and seem to hold their shape pretty well. I ordered the black pillows, and they look very nice. No fading, and the color is true. Even still, I put these 20x20 pillows inside of 18x18 pillow cases to give them a nice plushy look. They fit just fine, and work out well for my couch naps. Would buy them again. ... show more

Really nice pillow inserts, fluffs up really full in the dryer. Very happy! Sized up 1 size for inserts for more fullness. They could be a touch firmer, but very nice and comfortable

These pillows arrived vacuum-packed and securely wrapped in plastic. After following directions for fluffing them (I put in cool dryer for 10 min) they puffed up perfectly. They are soft but also supportive and appear well made. As they're just inserts, I don't expect them to go through a lot of "wear and tear" since they are inside pillow cases. The one odd thing was that they arrived just in a clear wrap with an address label on the front. Not that one is likely to buy a pillow insert as a gift, but I thought it was strange that the item being purchased was clearly visible to any random person/delivery driver. ... show more

These pillow inserts are OK, but I'm not sure I would say they are truly great. The packaging was something of a problem - they were shrink-packaged together in one bag, so tightly that I was afraid I would cut one of the pillows just opening the package. Once it was open, of course each pillow was individually shrink-wrapped. The pillows did immediately begin to fluff up, which was nice. However, if you are looking for really firm pillow inserts, you might want to try something else. In addition, the stuffing does not fully fill the corners of the pillows, and this causes an issue when the pillow is put inside the pillow cover. The corners of the pillow are not completely filled out. All of that said, I will not return these because I was able to find them at a time when Amazon was offering a special price, so I thought it was a decent value for the money. Also, I don't typically use throw pillows, so these won't get a lot of use. I just needed them for some Christmas covers that will be out on the couch for a short time. If I were to use throw pillow on a regular basis, I would probably spend a little more and get a better quality, firmer pillow insert. ... show more

When I read the directions to carefully remove them from their pouch, because they’re compressed when shipping I took it very seriously, and I slowly and carefully scissored them out of their package. But be careful because you don’t want to cut the pillow itself! However, when you pull them out, they tell you to shake them vigorously or put them in the dryer on low to medium for for a about 4 minutes With a couple ‘tennis balls’ or a ‘ freshly cleaned sneaker’ because you’ll want to fluff them up. That’s optional! I had personally some very active tennis players here who were happy to shake them for four to five minutes. We did leave them overnight, and I think they fluffed up even more as the air got behind the packing, they’re super plush - super firm and quite impressive European pillows. I was very impressed. I had someone sleep here overnight and used it as their sleeping pillow and said it was really comfortable. My use, of course will be to throw pillows on my couch, but I would say they’re very supportive and multipurpose. They would be brilliant in a bedroom on your bed as well; so good luck- enjoy them. I’d say they’re a great pillow to have your home. Don’t let the flatness of them fool you when they arrive because they will fluff up to 4×5 times her size and they will be very full Better than anything.
