I bought this for my 3mo old Lab mix. Her neck is about 12in around and she wears a small. The size chart is a little off. The small fits her very well, and she still has room to grow. My dog trainer recommended a martingale collar since it is good for leash training. My puppy was able to slip out of other collars, but this one is so sturdy and I love that i don’t have to worry about her getting out. If you bring your dog in the car, I would recommend taking the leash of since sometimes my dog will tangle the leash and end up choking herself even though she isn’t pulling at all. I just unhook the leash and clip her doggy seatbelt directly to the collar and then it’s perfect. This has helped me leash train my dog since it gives her a tug when she’s pulling too much. I definitely recommend this product and will buy the next size up when she grows out of hers. ... show more

Recommended by my rescue group. I had forgotten that I've used them many years ago. It fits well on my 4.5 month old puppy, secure and sturdy. Definitely a great value. Comes in a variety of colors. The locking clasp and leash ring are sturdy and secure. Much nicer alternative to "choke" collar

The collar works well. The pink faded quickly (within a month), but also possibly because my dog was scratching it a lot. Something about this collar made her itch.
