Love this collar, so do my dogs. It’s really wonderful for Dogs that slightly pull that you just want a little redirection. I use it daily and it is held up pretty well. I will say that it gets a little icky and stiff and does need to be washed with regular wear- this is normal though for anything nylon. For the price you really can’t beat it. It’s really quality and a nice strong collar. I love that. It has the buckle and is adjustable. The sizes on here are accurate. Just make sure that the size on the listing is the one that you want because for some reason, the colors and the sizes are not on the same listing they’re all separate. ... show more

I purchased this for our mini dachshund. She's right between 11-13 pounds. It's the perfect fit for her and she doesn't seem to mind it at all. When she starts pulling it gives just enough pressure on her neck for her to slow down and walk as she should loosely on the leash. The material is very durable and and good quality. The collar snaps on and off very easily and even has a place for their tags. I recommend this for help in training and leash walking. ... show more

I bought this for my 3mo old Lab mix. Her neck is about 12in around and she wears a small. The size chart is a little off. The small fits her very well, and she still has room to grow. My dog trainer recommended a martingale collar since it is good for leash training. My puppy was able to slip out of other collars, but this one is so sturdy and I love that i don’t have to worry about her getting out. If you bring your dog in the car, I would recommend taking the leash of since sometimes my dog will tangle the leash and end up choking herself even though she isn’t pulling at all. I just unhook the leash and clip her doggy seatbelt directly to the collar and then it’s perfect. This has helped me leash train my dog since it gives her a tug when she’s pulling too much. I definitely recommend this product and will buy the next size up when she grows out of hers. ... show more

I do love the martingale. It gives you the ability to have better control and tightening of the collar without pinching or using a choke chain. This bright color doesn't have any reflective properties, but its brightness make it well visible. Works well as designed and the buckle is solid. Good for training and protection. The collar works well. The pink faded quickly (within a month), but also possibly because my dog was scratching it a lot. Something about this collar made her itch. I recently learned about Martingale style collars when researching ways to control a large German Shepherd. I ended up getting a Freedom training harness for that dog but for my 2 Chihuahuas, I bought 2 of these collars. I was having problems with them slipping out of their regular soft collars and getting out of and tangled in their padded harnesses. Every time I walked them, I was afraid they would get loose. These collars are absolutely amazing! The collars are wider so distribute the pull force more evenly without making dogs cough and choke. I am able to control the little male who used to refuse to move if he couldn't go where he wanted. And best of all, they can't pull free of the collar. What a relief! I can't comment on durability as I have only had them a little while. But I can highly recommend them. Purchased a small size for each dog. Their necks measure 11 in. and 12.5 in. The collar fits the smaller dog on its tightest setting. So she might have been able to go with a smaller size. But the small works well. For the "larger" little dog, there is still room to adjust either way. A medium size for him would have been way too large. ... show more
