So this works pretty good. It doesn’t lock with the door setup we have but it’s a game changer for leaving the dogs in the house. I think I can modify it to lock at some point but I take it out when we leave for extended periods. Comes out real easy so I didn’t screw it in. I mentioned that it would extend, but it does not, so it does not meet what I need, and the size of the dog is different. If you have a medium dog, get a large one. There is no adapter to the top or bottom.
