I have spent more money than I care to admit on Luminara for candlelight in my home to have candlelight without exacerbating the allergies of my youngest. Their tapered candles are not wax coated as these tapered candles are; these candles also don’t make a rattling noise as some of my others from the other brand do, nor does it use a teardrop piece of plastic to reflect the light on which casts shadows on walls making it unsuitable for wall features. These are made extremely well, the light is fantastic, the ability to dim, set the timer, etc., are all great. These I feel are better quality at half the price. Very pleased with my purchase

The media could not be loaded. I actually originally ordered a set like this through another company and what I received was TERRIBLE, not at all like the description or pics, very cheap, horrible bright orange light. Returned those and bought these and let me tell you, from someone who loves candles and has bought flameless before, these are the best you can get without paying Luminara prices. Very high quality, well made, real wax the light itself is beautiful, could be a little warmer as far as that goes but like I said as close as you can get without spending a fortune and I don't even know if Luminara is better than these. The lighting settings can make them bright or dim which makes them look very cozy and perfect for mood lighting. Honestly unless you're up close to these you wouldn't even be able to tell they aren't real. I tested that out by setting one up on the mantle next to the prior poor quality ones and called my husband into the room to look without telling him what these were, his response was "what, now you're putting the fake ones next to the real ones to compare?" I was like you think those are real (this product)? He was like they're not?! He still gets taken aback by them thinking they're real. They look great with the wick flickering and without. Honestly before I was deadset on needing the "moving" wick but tried these out and wouldn't go back, like my husband says, candles don't dance around that much anyway lol. He's right, I had these next to real candles for a few minutes to see how I'd feel comparing them to real thing and no, the real flame does not move around like that lol. These are the same price as the other poor quality brand I bought too. There's just no comparison. I attached photos here on my mantle, in the 1st photo the poor quality brand is on the left, this brand in the middle, and a real candle on the right. I also took up close photos with this brand next to a real candle so you can see just how close these are. Like I said the only thing I'd change is making the light itself a little warmer, in photos you can't actually see the full accuracy of the lighting, in person it's a bright white-pinkish sort of glow. But you only pick up on the flame being a little off if you're super close to them anyway. They're worth the money, you won't regret it! In the video I turned each one on a few seconds apart so the flickering wouldn't sync up. I also read a review from someone who painted the wicks to make them warmer and I may try that.

Quick ship overnight which was GREAT! all candles work out of the box which is GREAT.... Love the wax feeling and they look just like regular lit candles from 15 Ft. or further away. Love the timer feature to save on batteries. Wife loves them! Reason for 4 not 5 stars: One candle does not respond to the remote control and must be turned off manually. Same candle can only work in flicker mode.

Returning, but only for 2 relatively minor reasons. 1. I wish they had holders. I will be using for window lights at the holidays, and I don't really want to spend a bunch more on holders. 2. There are only 8. I'd prefer a set of 10 or 12, and two sets to make 16 would be too much, particularly given there are no holders (see #1). Also, the real wax sheath was a little rough, probably due to being shipped in summer, but not a deal breaker. ***What they do well*** Loved that these came in pure white. Nice that they have real wax. The color on the flame is great! I had gotten a different brand to compare, and these were far more realistic and warm in color than the other brand. I may eventually coming back to buy these again if I don't find ones that I like with holders at the right price.

I love these candles! I bought two sets of them and they come with a remote where you can adjust their brightness and how long they’re on for (2, 4, or 8 hours). Each one requires two AAA batteries which wasn’t my favorite, but oh well. My biggest complaint about these candles is that there are a few that seem to be rogue from both sets. They turn on whenever they want and are very finicky. I left my house for two days and came back to find that three of them had turned on by themselves and stayed on the whole time (thus making them much dimmer and needing their batteries replaced). So I stored them away and replaced them. Other than that, the ones that are functional and behave themselves are really beautiful and look as close to real candles as you can get!

These candles are so convincing they pass for the real thing even only a couple of feet away. Put them on your dining room table, and they will look elegant and natural. The brightness is adjustable, they can be set to flicker or hold steady, they can be set to come on and turn off automatically, and they operate by remote control, so you can put them in hard to reach places. I bought a set of 6 and a box of AA batteries, which are not included. I have no reservations about recommending them.

These candles are very realistic looking and nice size. The only thing that needs to be addressed is the size of the end of the candle. Most standard candle holders are too small to hold these candles.
