It’s tough to prove a product like this is working, especially when the goal is prevention. That said, we’ve been using it regularly, and our dog—who’s usually prone to ear infections—has been doing just fine. No irritation, no funky smells. I did some web sluething and Hinoki Cypress Water is known for its natural antibacterial, antifungal, and soothing properties, and 52% is high — which means it’s not just a token ingredient but the true base of the formula. The formula iseems gentle and applying it is like all ear stuff - he hates it but tolerates it. It hasn’t caused any issues… and quite likely has prevented some – at least I’m optimistic. Sometimes with products like this, no news is good news.

Get this product!!!! This is life changing for our pet who has suffered with so many ear infections through the years. I can’t say enough good things about it but whatever magic is coming out of it my dog is not suffering! Ease of use and he not rejecting it. We have had less vet visits. Our vet even wanted to see what we have been doing different and we showed him. Don’t walk away from this product, trust it and get it! I so happy we discovered this miracle in a bottle. One of my dogs creates quite a bit of mess in his ears, which if i'm not on top of it ends up matting the hair and becomes quite an ordeal for him to clean out. That happened this time, so i thought that i'd try a product to see if it'd make it any easier for him, and it did. This isn't some sort of magic spell, but it does a pretty good job of getting the ear cleaned out with a bit of massaging. It's nice that it smells pleasant, but doesn't bother his ear, instead of looking like he's mad at me (which is usually the case when it gets this bad) he acted like he was very happy with the attention and was very cooperative. This suggests that the claims of being gentile on the skin and calming are accurate, as he's never seemed happy by the end of the process, which is why we often take longer than we should to get around to doing it. Now that he's so cooperative and seems happy while we do it, we'll be doing it more often so his ears stay nice and clean.

The struggle is real with my semi-feral kitty who gets dark earwax all the time. I tried the wipes and she now runs from me when I bring them out - hahaha. This is a liquid form and I can sneakily squirt into that ONE ear with dark earwax. She hates me for about 10 minutes, shaking her head all over the place but then comes back for pets. I then massage her ear, which she loves. This seems to work well for her, the ear wax does get removed and she doesn't hold a major grudge afterwards.

PetO’Cera CL’Ear Ear Cleaner for Dogs & Cats with 52% Hinoki Cypress Water, Soothes Itching & Irritation, Cleans & Deodorizes, Alcohol-Free… I have been using this on my cat - who hates me putting anything in his ears. Nonetheless, it seems to be working for him and it has not caused any irritation or adverse effects. He’s always shaking his head and doing things that indicate that his one ear is bothering him. I’ve taken him to the vet, but it’s just because he has that dark earwax and hairy ears. I only use it once a week, so as not to torture him too much. This has helped!

What they send you is not for the EARS but for the EYES. Had to return not once but twice so I’m not wasting my time / money for them to send another bottle of EYE. The Amazon website, Cardboard package and bottle state EYE so they stuck a little sticker on it about EARS. I suppose you could use it b/c it sensitive enough for eyes but no instructions for EARS. I bought a different brand. I now have to drive 15 miles away to return both bottles now. Don’t waste your time/money if they can’t send a correct one
