Holds a lot of food but the food doesn’t fall like it should. I have to kick it to get the food to fall into bowl. I have 2 large dogs so the feed bowl part is empty every time I walk by.

I have a cat that is very particular about her food, as she is a feral cat. If you have experience with feral cats, you'll understand. She's very particular about her food, and if she sees that her cat dish is almost empty, she will stop eating as usual and leave some for the next day. We give her the right amount of food recommended by our vet, but she saves some for herself as if she's in survival mode. She even eats less the next day when the cat dish is half full so she can save some for the day after. The vet and I agreed to use an electronic automatic feeder that fed her 3 times a day, but she still saved food for the next day. She didn't seem to understand that there was more food inside the electronic automatic feeding machine. THIS PRODUCT: When we talked to our vet again, we agreed to fix this problem with this product which is a self-automatic feeder. It's placed in an area where she's the only one that can eat from it. She sees the food as it is transparent, she can smell it, and she knows that there's food for her for the next day. With this self-automatic feeder, she hasn't become overweight. She eats without any problem, she is not in survival mode anymore. When I see the bowl go lower than half, we add more food so she can be reassured that her food is always there for her when she needs it. ... show more
