The media could not be loaded. I purchased this after wasting time with cheaper fountains. It was easy to put together and worked right out of the box. It’s rather quiet (you just kind of hear light trickling). The water level stays consistent and I’ve never had an issue with it overflowing. My cat has taken to it well.     • Good overall.....with a few concerns

This wireless Petlibro cat fountain has a lot of pros, and a couple cons. Pros: •It truly is wireless • So far battery life seems great • It's extremely quiet (unlike others I've tried) • Easy/straightforward assembly • Sensor seems to work well so it doesn't constantly run • Good water flow • Easy to clean since you can remove the tank from the base which holds the battery. Cons: • Although the top section is stainless steel, the tank itself is plastic and it concerns me that microplastics may be going into his water • There is no indicator for a low battery, only a red light that appears when it's completely drained • I've had it for 8 days, and my cat has drank from it 1 time (that we've seen). I don't know if it's because he simply prefers to "sink drink" from our bathroom faucet, or if it's because the water doesn't taste good to him. I can't comment yet on mold growth, as I haven't had it long enough yet. I am keeping an eye on it and planning to change the filter every 2 weeks as stated in the manual. I will update my review if I notice mold or anything else concerning. ... show more
