It's stopped responding to the app. My wifi says it's connected and I can ping it but when trying to connect the cat feeder says not connected. Worked for about two months with no issues. Fill and forget. When fully filled holds enough food to last two 7lbs adolescent cats for a little more than two weeks. Feeding schedule and quantities are super customizable. Quantities disbursed can be set in 1/12th cup increments up to a full cup. I have ours set to six feedings a day ranging from 2/12ths a cup to 4/12ths a cup. You can also pause feedings or remotely request a manual extra feeding using the app or via buttons on the front (lockable). When away for a night or two, the camera and device updates provide nice reassurance that everyone is getting fed. We also use the water fountain in combo with it. Key take away : If you require precise portion division skip this product or be prepared to modify the divider arm. Pros: So far so good. You can put it together easily. It holds quite a bit of kibble. The lid locks on well and depending where it is placed it would be difficult for a pet to knock over the entire assembly so it is stabile. When empty it is light as it is made of plastic and the bowls are thin metal. The dispensing action is loud so account for that if placed near sleeping area. It can sustain power outages for at-least 15 minutes and not lose its time or settings which is nice. It likely will survive longer but I did not test that yet. It WILL NOT dispense food during a power outage unless you have installed batteries. The food division is pretty close to equal when the lever is maxed to the right. The manual (correctly) advises you not to install batteries until you plan to be away for an extended period as batteries tend to leak over time and will corrode the internals eventually. Overall the controls aren’t completely intuitive. The instructions are a foreign translation that has been reviewed but are not perfect so there is room for interpretation. There is no volume control for the voice replay so expect to record it a few times adjusting your personal voice volume to get what is right for you. It can be convoluted to configure some of the settings and, to me, needed to be walked through before the instructions made sense. - Does not dispense food evenly. Resetting, updating firmware, or adjusting the cheap plastic meal splitter does nothing to help it distribute evenly. - Motor is slow and weak. It dispenses the meal slowly in short bursts of food causing your pet to be hit in the face as they try to eat what has already been dispensed. - The bottom portion which comes in contact with food is not removable / machine washable. - If you want to automatically record feedings you have to subscribe to their video cloud service which is 59.99$ a year. (You can access the camera via the phone app and save video's and pictures to your phone manually for free) - The machine itself is made out of cheap plastic materials and feels low quality / flimsy. Similar build quality to other 50$ feeders on amazon. - There is not an included rechargeable battery. You need to separately purchase D batteries to have a battery backup. I would expect that to be included at this price. - The description says you can set up plans for two different cats. This is not true as far as I can figure out. You simply set up one meal plan and then double the portion size. Trying to set up something like a 70 / 30 split does not work since the meal splitter is useless. I bought this together with a Petlibro fountain. It is nice that they run in the same app. The fountain works well, however I would avoid the feeder. ... show more

I believe this product is absolutely worth it if you're looking for an automatic feeder with a camera. The app to use it is simple and has some nice options when it comes to controlling the feeder and recordings. You can set up a schedule and how much you want to depsense in 1/12 of a cup. So 12/12 being a full cup. We have set up to 5 feedings per day of smaller portions. You have to option to turn off a specific feeding that day which we like. It will resume the next day if there is still food in the bowl and you dont want any to dispense. It also uses batteries as a backup if the power were to go out. It needs 3 D batteries. We had an issued with the SD card we purchased working for approximately a week and then suddenly stopped. We promptly reached out to PetLibro support who worked with us with troubleshooting and trying different SD cards. When the second one we purchased didnt work it was escalated to a supervisor who gave us a few suggested SD cards and even compensated the purchase of one to ensure we had a smooth and good experiance. The new SD worked and we were told the ones we had to were too fast for the feeder. We chose the Kingston SDCS2 model if you're looking for one that will work with the device. Overall the experiance with the company has been wonderful. The device works well and and is easy to use. It ensures our cats are fed when we aren't home all day.
