Really nice upgrade to the original PETLIBRO Dockstream Smart Fountain. These products are the best water fountains I've tried for my cats, and I've tried MANY. They are the easiest to clean, easiest to set up, easiest to fill – they are just the best. And the 2 just makes the docking system more secure/less likely to get knocked over which is great. I love the app and how it notifies me when my cats are drinking water, and when the water needs to be filled. It's also very quiet. The only time I hear it is when it's low on water, which is also a good indicator to fill up. 10/10 product I love it and will continue to use PETLIBRO devices for my fur-babies.

I have the old model, but wanted one with a battery in case my cat unplugs it. This is incredible. A solid iteration on the one from several years ago. App is great. Water flow amount in fountain is ideal. Filters keep the water clean between fills. There is really not much to say other than PetLibro makes a great cat water fountain at a great price. The app is unobtrusive and is helpful. Build quality is nice. It is sleek and solid. This design is also easy to clean like the old one. Fit and finish is excellent, and it feels quality. This easily fits in your home as it's not an eyesore. The fountain also does not splash so you don't have to worry about that. My cat will sometimes splash some water, but she does that with any water dish.

After 30 years of living with cats, this is the best product I've ever bought for them. I've had this product for sux months now. My cats drink significantly more water because of it. It's easy to set up and clean. I wish I always had it. Extremely efffective, reliable, and convenient. The fountain is marvelous and inviting; even pleasant to listen to. No more worries about stressed kidneys. My three picky cats love it. No leaks, great battery life, durable, and very much wirth the money.

For dogs too! My two mini schnauzers were cautiously curious at first, but 5 days in and they love it. Their water consumption is already going up. Don’t think I’ve ever Amazon reviewed any of the countless purchases I’ve made, but I’m impressed (and a little jealous as a business owner ;-) with the hardware and software Petlibro has developed. Great attention to detail with design and execution. I might not always keep the iPhone alerts on in the months ahead, but I love getting them now when I’m out of the house and seeing that my doggies are drinking water… and how many ounces to the .00 degree of detail. It’s like getting a little reminder to me of them and also tracking their hydration and optimization. Ha!

To say I was skeptical of this product would be an understatement. I needed a new water bowl for my 3 furballs. I wasn't sure how if the fountain stopped working how would they get water... So with that knowledge I went for the cordless battery operated one. I leave it plugged in all the time, but I do enjoy the option of the backup battery. I have tested it both ways. My furballs prefer the water to constantly be running, but will still drink. I can get the water fountain to last 13 days before I need to refill. A couple things I would caution you on: --- if its not actively running the water bowl that they drink from is bone dry, till they walk up and set off the sensor. OR the 45seconds every hour to move the water. --- if the water is below the minimum line, water has a hard time shooting up thru the fountain. (there is about an Inch of water left in the bowl give or take) --- 2 weeks to replace the filters. (with 3 animals...yeah... its 2 weeks) --- make sure you THOROUGHLY clean it. Wipe down all the grime and slime each time. --- DO NOT get the base wet. Other than that it is SUUUPER Quiet, easy to clean, you get notifications on how much has been drank for the day, unfortunately unless you have an RFID chip you will not know who is who drinking. So if thats important to you, then look for the RFID thing. All in all, I do actually recommend this product. I have to refill way less than their other bowl. and since the water is "hidden" it's less likely for bugs to get in. I love the notifications so I know the water levels. The reason it has 4 stars is because, if it gets too low, the fountain will go into what I call "sensor mode", and the bowl gets dry, then has a hard time coming out of the spout. Luckily it has not happened a lot to have to worry, but still a concern if they decided to drink like it was going out of style and was not around to fill it up, and it does not replace having to have an additional open water bowl.

I bought the battery operated model to avoid the cord issues. We’ve only had it setup for a few days, but it is very attractive and completely silent. My 20 lb senior pup & my cat both use it. It is also motion activated which will save battery life. Time will tell what its life expectancy is. Hopefully a good long time. Very happy with my purchase!

I actually love this water fountain. It's quiet and my cats love it. They are drinking more water than before! However, the unit **FAILED** 11 months after my purchase. This is within the 24 month manufacturer warranty period. When I contacted customer service, they responded promptly, requesting a video as proof of failure as well as proof of purchase date. The agent referred it to a supervisor and told me I'd hear back within 3 days. And then I waited. Nearly 2 weeks later, they contacted my requesting that I send another video proving that the unit does not work, and another copy of the receipt. In the meantime I've had to replace the fountain, with the newer version of the same fountain. Don't purchase unless you can afford to buy a new one after a year.
