Pro: fits my petkit water fountain Con: seems to get dirty quickly I have one cat. I clean the fountain and pump very thoroughly every 1.5 to 2 weeks. I use filtered water. The first box of filters seemed fine, but I feel like I have moved through the last two boxes of filters very quickly. This most recent filter I have only had in for two weeks and the mesh on the underside is already very dirty-looking. I run the fountain on smart mode, three minutes on three minutes off, and have not made any changes but I am running through these filters quickly. I’m going through them fast enough that I may switch back to the regular water bowl when this box is empty. ... show more

So when I first purchased this water fountain (eversweet 26) I notified the filters were needing to be changed every other month and kept getting this gunky pink film between the ledges of the plastic that took forever to clean with a q-tip. So I figured it was the city water and sure enough it was. I now purchase $.89 gallon spring water in bulk from Whole Foods and the filter lasts closer to 4 months plus no more pink film 🤷🏻♀️to clean up.
