I read reviews saying this was difficult and time consuming to put together but based off the product description I ordered. The directions are straight forward and all hardware was incased together. It did take a couple hours to put together but it's a king size bed completely disassembled in a box. if it went together fast, I wouldn't trust it. Came with wood slats that drill into the frame. Once together it is beautiful, just like the picture. It is very sturdy. Getting the box springs and heavy matress on the assembled bed frame was the hardest part. Very nice quality for the price. Bed looks fancy!!! In my opinion you do need a box spring otherwise, you’ll be sleeping to low I use a 14” mattress let’s see how long will last. Took me an hour to assemble it has everything in the box all you need it’s a phillips screw driver.
