Does pretty well with absorption. I would just say if you were going to buy this product it is the size of a placemat like you put on your table it's not very big. It's too small for my big dog so I use it for my cats but they like to spill water all the time and they like to claw it and it's held up so far since I bought it it's very easy to wipe off that's what I like about it and it is very soft and the quality is not bad. It has kept the floor underneath pretty clean so I really have no complaints.

The media could not be loaded. We bought this absorbent pet feeding mat because our kitchen floor is uneven, and our cats’ water fountain and food dish were constantly creating puddles that spread everywhere. Very nice mat. I put it under the dog bowls. I have the bulldog that loves to walk away from the bowl with water trailing from his mouth. The water absorbs right into the mat no more mess on the floor. And it looks look on the floor.
