The material is nice and it's decently thick. The size is very nice, enough for 2 bowls. Even though it came rolled up it laid out flat fairly quick, so there wasn't a huge wait time to be able to use it. Of course my dog decided as soon as I put her water bowl on it to test it out by knocking the bowl over and I grabbed for a nearby towel (she's gotten better about it as she's getting older but one of the reasons I got this and so had the towel close by) and by the time I turned back all the water on the mat was gone. Her test worked and it didn't seem wet afterwards either. She has a tendency to not get all the water in her mouth and the mat has been keeping the floor dry so far. There was no noticeable smell either, how sometimes new items like this have a smell to them, so that was very nice. It seems like it should be OK to wipe off but I'm not sure about stains in the long run. I'm sure if there is a lot of moisture getting on it regularly it would need a break and time to dry but for the normal spillage/dribbles from dogs throughout the day it should be good. So far seems great!

This is a really nice oversized mat to allow for slurping, dripping and general messiness next to the dogs water bowl. I needed an extra bowl and mat to keep the dogs contained in the living room when I'm out, and this fit the bill nicely. It's very attractive and can be kept there all the time. It keeps my floors cleaner than the smaller mat I had for them there. It's waterproof so won't allow spills to hurt flooring and it is a low profile, skid proof mat that the dogs cannot move around. This is a great mat for a bowl or two. Would work well as a food and water bowl mat. Plenty of room for two bowls.

This pet feeding mat is perfect for the Beasties! The large size fits the feeding station perfectly (the kitty has her food and water on the "upper level") and it is just the right size for two little chihuahuas or one large dog. Additionally, the fact that it is non-skid and waterproof means that there is a lot less mess to clean up. This item arrived quickly and is very well packaged. The item is ready to use upon arrival and there was no unpleasant odor coming from the rubber. I definitely recommend this pet feeding mat.

This is a great sized mat. It is adorned with two cut paw prints. It has a back that is "sticky" not in the sense that it will stick in the sense it will not move around when you put dog bowls on it. It is a great size for two small bowls and will not move when they are eating and pushing the bowls around. Since it is smooth I think it will be easy to clean any messes made on the mat.

This is an attractive mat for your pet (and you). It keeps the floor free from spills, and is easy to wipe clean. My dog often drips and and splashes when he drinks from his fountain. This mat is absorbent, and save’s me from having to clean the floor so much. I really like it and am going to order one for the cat’s dish and water bowl.

I was previously using a carpet square for an alternate feeding and water spot for the cats, but after the most recent (of many) incident of it being upturned due to midnight kitty madness, I knew I needed something better or at least something easier to clean. This was perfect, made from a water proof neoprene type material that is very easy to clean and is less desirable to scratch at, so for me, problem solved! Really a nice little mat. No complaints.

This mat is the perfect size for a large food and water bowl. It is well constructed and the material does not allow water to soak through. The backing is very effective for preventing slipping and sliding on a hard floor, and the dog paw prints are cute. This is something that is constructed to last a long time, and is a must for pet owners who don't want their floors to get ruined.
