This is a nice pet carrier but it's annoying to use. As soon as I unzip one of the ends to let my mini dachshund out, the top will collapse. This makes it difficult to get her back into the carrier (from the ends). If I wanted to open the top to let her in & out, that would probably work better but it's not how I want to do it or what she's used to. Their wording "metal frame and soft but sturdy bottom, not easy to deform" is what made me buy it. I will keep it due to its size, it's hard to find a length greater than 17".

I had been looking for a replacement carrier for my cat that would allow her to see around her while caged. I saw this and immediately bought it and she love it. The inside pad was comfortable and she wasn't as vocal as she could see her environment. I know it said dog, but my cat loved it!
