We purchased this for our daughter for college. I would recommend assembling it at home because it takes awhile. It a beautiful dresser and fits nicely in her room since dorm rooms are tiny. Her roommate liked it so much she bought one. Great price and quality.

Very flimsy. The drawer facing will not sit flush, causing small gaps. They don’t open and close easier and it always feels like it’s about to break off if you pull too hard to open the drawers (because they stick). The instructions were pretty easy to follow. But it’s very very cheap material. The mechanism to hold the drawers together (pin and hook) is not well executed. It’s very light and comes with a wall anchor - if it’s heavy enough to tip, it will rip itself self from the anchor in the very thin pressboard. Breaks easily during assembly ... show more

This is exactly the sort of thing I was looking for, and it feels pretty sturdy, so I'm giving it five stars. The panels are all some kind of particleboard with a textured plastic layer on top; it's obviously not super premium but I think it looks better and feels more durable than other furniture I've bought in this price range. And it arrived without any noticeable damage, which is always appreciated. There are a few things you should be aware of: - This has a lot of parts, and will take a long time to assemble. Each of the 8 drawers has to be screwed together from 5 separate panels, and of course 8 drawers means 16 slides that need to be installed as well. None of it is difficult but you should expect to spend a few hours and maybe take a break partway through. - The drawers don't go all the way back. This is shown in one of the product images if you look closely at the dimensions, but it surprised me. I assume it's for balance or something, but there's a significant gap in the back so you aren't getting quite as much storage space as it seems. That said, I'm very happy with it and would definitely buy another one if I was in need of more drawer storage in the future. ... show more

Bough this for my child’s dorm. It arrived timely and undamaged. Assembly Required. My husband and I put this together in about an hour. Assembly Directions were a bit unclear but we worked through it. Dresser looks great. Seems sturdy enough to last. Has a small footprint for the amount of storage it provides. Great for low-real estate spaces. Drawers have a single panel bottom, but will suffice for lighter items or clothes. Comes with latch to fix to a wall of needed. It is particle board, so I wouldn’t stand on it, but is a great purchase for college. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought 2 of these and chose this item because i wanted shallow drawers to store things that could be picked up without digging through a deep drawer. The cabinets are very sturdy and high quality. Heavy! The directions are easy to understand and we had no problems assembling. The drawers slide smoothly and the exterior is very easy to wipe off. There are rubber pads for the bottom so the cabinets do not slide or move around when you open and close the drawers, and they protect the flooring from scratches. ... show more
