The scent is strong, and these are oily. Handle with gloves. But I have noticed that crickets and spiders have stayed out the garage. These are worth it. I have an extermination company and they set up mouse bait stations and glue traps. But this is an added deterrent. These also come with small cloth satchels that each ball can placed in, so that when it disintegrates, it will be contained in the bag.

Oh wow!! This stuff really works!!! On my porch, no more spider webs everywhere every morning!!!! It even extends to the tree area next to my porch. I can walk through there and not get slammed by a web!!! It works on all creepy creatures!! Awesome for sheds and garages. Natural stuff. Super product

Update. I may have been premature in my negative review. I am upgrading from 1 to 4 stars. After giving it more time, the ant issue is so much better. They are not completely gone, but now it's just one or two here and there. I will continue to monitor and update again if necessary. Just be careful where you place these as discoloration to the surface, etc. may occur. Useless! I had high hopes based on reviews, but for ants, not at all effective despite what the product states to the contrary. The ants walk back and forth directly over the repellent ball without any sign of discomfort or dislike. It is easy to use and the smell is not as strong as I had thought it would be, but it does give off a hint of what smells like arthritis cream after a bit. Very costly for something with zero effectiveness. Disappointed!

They are STRONG but not in a bad way. They are also way bigger than I expected and are made of wood…. Also not what I expected. I think they are doing a great job keeping pests away though!

I purchased this product based on the glowing reviews, hoping it would finally help with my mouse problem. Unfortunately, my experience has been very different from what was advertised and what other buyers seemed to have encountered. The product claims to repel mice through scent, but the mice in my home don’t seem the slightest bit bothered by it. They walk right past it, take the bait or food as usual, and leave just as comfortably as before. What’s worse is that the only one reacting to the smell is me. It’s strong, lingering, and honestly unpleasant enough that I find myself avoiding the area where the product is placed. Instead of deterring the mice, it feels like it’s deterring me. For something marketed as a solution, it hasn’t made even the slightest difference in rodent activity. Overall, I’m disappointed and don’t feel the product lives up to the claims. I really wanted this to work, but based on my results, I can’t say it’s effective. I’ll likely be looking for a different approach, because this one just didn’t make any impact at all.
