  • Great ratchet
Style: 3/8'' Drive Flex Head Long Ratchet
This ratchet is small and thin and that's what makes it good, I wouldn't recommend pulling real hard on it as it's liable to break, I use it for tight spaces and it works great, I have looked at lots of 3/8 ratchets like this and this is probably one of thinnest ones and longest

  • Junk.
Style: 3/8'' Drive Flex Head Long Ratchet
Even though I read some bad reviews, I purchased one anyway while it was on sale. This is a terrible ratchet. The handle is much thinner than the same length Titan brand one I have, so it flexes under lower torque. The locking flex head is a joke, as soon as you put any pressure on the handle, you will hear a snapping noise, and the handle is no longer locked and will move wherever it wants to go. I called performance tool, and went through the warranty process, and the replacement did the same exact thing. I'm not using the ratchet for a breaker bar by any means, just to get into hard to reach areas for blots that are probably no more than 40 ft lbs of torque and it can't even handle that without problems. It is etched right on the handle saying no more than 195 ft lbs. Then I went to use it the other day and the ratchet is locked up for no reason, I flipped the direction lever back and forth and it won't ratchet in either direction. I tore it apart and see nothing wrong, or broken, put it back together and it still won't ratchet. This ratchet has only been used 5 or 6 times under very light use, DON'T waste your money on this junk. I purchased one similar off the tool truck, I paid 8 times more money than this one, but that is a ratchet that will last a lifetime and I'm sure can handle the torque without an issue. ... show more

  • Great but not invincible
Style: 3/8'' Drive Flex Head Long Ratchet
This ratchet worked well for what I used it for. Removing and installing Spark plugs in a Subaru Outback. The longer handle and high tooth count worked well to remove the spark plugs. I would only say that I used it to remove the nuts holding the motor mounts (to jack up the engine for added clearance). It worked for that but I dont think it would work for a long time if I always used it to break larger fasteners. Use this more for the reach and flex head than actually torquing on fasteners. ... show more

  • Great Ratchet
Style: 3/8'' Drive Flex Head Long Ratchet
I have a snap on 3/8 flex lock ratchet when I tell you this ratchet is the same comparison but is better because of the length hands down this is a great ratchet for the price

  • essential tool for specific applications
Style: 3/8'' Drive Flex Head Long Ratchet
I needed this tool to replace a starter motor in a 2004 Honda Accord with the 2.4 l engine. On this vehicle the starter is beneath the intake manifold and the larger of the two bolts that holds the starter to the engine (17 mm) is nearly beneath the starter and in a very awkward position that is nearly impossible to access. This tool made the job as easy as it could be and it stood up to the full pressure of my weight (175 pounds) pressing against the handle to break the bolt free. I could not have done the job without this tool. Well made, versatile, easy to adjust, and long enough to provide a lot of torque necessary to free stubborn nuts and bolts. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Broke after 2 weeks.
Style: 3/8'' Drive Flex Head Long Ratchet
I’m a mechanic by trade, and do some l mechanical work at home on my cars friends cars and the family members cars. What I’m trying to say Is I would use this wrench maybe 2-4 hours a day 3 days a week. I have tools at work so I would just use this specific socket wrench at home. After about 2 weeks of use the teeth began locking up so I removed them and cleaned them then the issue was fixed or so I thought nope they locked up again after that I was a bit upset, thought I bought a defective socket wrench, so I bought another cause you know what I can’t lie at first I liked the low profile flex head and extremely long handle it was great for getting to hard to reach places like starters and water pump pulleys etc. but the new one I bought same thing teeth jammed and I was down another 40 bucks. Moral of my story if you are gonna use this socket wrench more than 5 times it’s not worth buying because after the 5th use it breaks. ... show more
