i have a 1992 ford explorer and i couldnt find a intake hose to save my life i had to duck tape mine literally and then i came across this and was skeptical cause i know a explorer and ranger dont always work together parts wise but this was extremely easy to install and now my car is running much better these guys did a amazing job and extremely fast i see people having hard time but just make sure your air flow is correct i would buy from and recommend these people again ... show more

1993 Ford Ranger. It fits perfectly. I was able to turn down the section that attaches to the filter and mass air meter so it points down into the fresh air vent for the original filter housing. Anyone who puts one star should have had a man install it for them. It is perfect. Could not be happier with it. I had to make a little bracket to run over to the fender so that it supports the weight instead of the connections. Will add a photo in a few days. ... show more

Great product . Don't like so many PCs. Two many places to come apart.the rubber gasket doesn't fit the air intake to the map sensor casing but made it work.looks great solid pipe.

I installed this on a 1993 ranger splash 4.0, the install was easy and straight forward, everything that came in the kit was the correct size and even supplied me with a smaller tube for the breather that i installed inside the bigger hose (kinda used as a spacer) and clamped down the little filter to the oil fill tube, you must disconnect the negative terminal on your battery, when you are finished the install, your truck may feel sluggish thru parts of the RPM band but the computer is relearning the mass air flow to accommodate the bigger intake. Continue to drive around and it will clear up! great product and would certainly recommend. ... show more

I am not going to just trash because I am grumpy. The tubes were well made and cut. The air filter and breather elements were of good quality. Now the couplers and clamps, those are not of any quality. The clamps are not much better that dryer hose clamps and the silicone the use for the couplers is thin and little big. The fit could have been a lot better. I had to spend more for add on parts and upgrades which put me way over what I wanted to spend. It does have potential but I believe some of the parts are of lesser quality for what is spent. ... show more

You get what you pay for. For what it is and the price it’s not bad. The aluminum pipe you get is thicker than most other cheap cold air intakes. Don’t really care for the cheap silicone couplers but again you get what you pay for. There’s a lot of room for activities so fitment is good.
