Kept hearing stories of people paying three, four five hundred dollars for their bed cover. To me that's probably a waste of money. This cover was about $180 for my eight foot Ram bed (2024 3500 Ram). Installed it myself (second time installing a bed cover), in an hour. Could probably do it faster but I like to fart around with stuff like this - take my time I mean. The side rails are made for the more-common shorter bed lengths, so the first thing to do is install the two extensions that make the rails eight feet. Simple enough. Connect the side rails to the front rail, then lay out the cover (use the foam gasket as desired), take a few measurements as you go, loosely install the hold-down clamps, and check for fit. The biggest problem my be the width adjustment at the rear. If the bed cover hardware does not easily engage (drop in) with the rear connection point, adjust the rails in or out to allow for easy engagement. I recommend only moving one side rail in or out. Adjust the whole unit though, if it is not centered. Ok, the cover itself looks decent. It's been on for only a month but still looks brand new and everything in the bed stays dry. Nothing has come apart yet. I like these bed covers as they give me a mile or two more mpg on the highway.

Nice addition to the truck. We had no issues with installation. It was very straight forward and easy. The top is nice and tight and gives a nice drum sound when tapped. It holds out the water very well. We drove in a good down pour and had no issues. We also tested it with a power washer while spraying down the truck to remove the pollen and still no water got into the bed. Well worth the purchase price. We will be getting another for our other truck.

This item is great. The directions weren't very clear on how to install it but we figured it out. We love it. It has helped increase our gas mileage as well. Fits beautifully and is very secure as it locks with the tailgate. Love it.
