  • Great, as I expected
Size: 5.5" - 2000ct
I bought these to use for adding details and 'trim' to the 25 -- 32mm wargaming buildings (and other structures) I enjoy constructing for my tabletop wargaming hobby. These small 'boards' seem to be very uniform in size and shape (5 and 1/2 inch long x just over 1/8 inch wide (about 4mm) and very thin -- just about 1/16 inch), although a rare stick may have a twist or other flaw. Luckily, since the entire length often isn't necessary for my constructions, I can cut off the flawed bit, so there's very little waste. All in all, theses tiny boards are extremely useful for me, and look great as siding, as Tudor home 'beams,' and just about any and all of the trim on buildings, such as around doors and windows. Three or four sticks glued together lengthwise make for sturdy, thick legs for guard towers and other such structures, and single whole or ripped pieces can be used as crossbeams and such, leaving a pretty nice looking structure. Elmer's glue 'sticks' work great for this type of work -- much easier and less messy than regular white glue. When these boards are ripped (cut down the center length-wise), they're also just about perfect (at least to my eye) for making ladder rungs, for adding 'rails' on posts (toothpicks) for wood fences, and similar constructs. It's also fairly easy to give them a 'woodgrain' look when desired. Just run a stiff wire brush down one side before construction begins, although this isn't strictly necessary. Wood grain can be simulated with paint, or these can be stained, since they are hard wood (birch, I think). They also look fine covered with a light brown acrylic wash, such as the Army Painter Soft or Strong Tone washes, instead of a real wood stain (usually oil based). Regular acrylic paints of any color can be used as well. Overall, they're very handy, and I may go ahead and buy another box, since the cost is so inexpensive, especially compared to balsa, basswood, or similar wood products. I'm not quite sure I'll ever really need 4000 of these handy 'boards' (2000 per box), but if I did need them in the far future, I'd be pretty disappointed to have missed getting them at such a low price right now. ;-) Whatever happens with that, the single box of 2000 I bought is adequate for my needs just now (and the foreseeable future), and the tiny boards are absolutely great for my wargaming and other wooden construction projects. Actually, they would be great for just about any crafting project requiring small thin boards, especially as a replacement for very thin but much more expensive balsa, basswood, MDF or plywood, I'd imagine. I find them very useful, and highly recommended this product (Perfect Stix Perfectware PW CS 200-2000ct Wooden Coffee Stirrer with Square Ends, 5.5" (Pack of 2000)). ... show more

  • They're great for the purpose I bought them
Size: 1,000ct
I work with several molds that are a little deep, and these are great for getting to the problems I can't reach with a toothpick or something else. I can also see where they'll be useful when making my miniature scenes for book inserts.

  • Great wouldn’t replacement instead of plastic stirrers. One small complaint though
Size: 5.5" - 2000ct
I was really happy to buy some wooden coffee stirrers rather than the plastic ones. It might be a small thing but I hope keeping plastic straws are the environment will help a little bit. The only problem I had with the stirrers is that they are very thin and bend quite easily. As in them that they worked great for storing coffee ... show more

  • It's worth it
Size: 1,000ct
Bought to use for dollhouse crafts. Several of the stirrers so far have been broken or misformed. Still, it's a bunch of stirrers and I would probably buy them again if I needed more.

  • Good coffee stirrers
Size: 1,000ct
They aren’t real sturdy but they work fine to stir my coffee.

  • Misleading Title - These are NOT for stirring coffee!
Size: 10" - Extra Sturdy - 1000ct
These are the type of sticks you would expect to find in a corn dog. Or craft projects. The thickness of these sticks is overkill and a total waste for something like a cup of coffee.

  • Flimsy, but cheap
Size: 1,000ct
Have to use two or three to stir coffee, but work great for crafts.

  • A Great Bargain......
Size: 1,000ct
Great price and sticks works great! Not to thick and not too thin. Keep in mind they're not for 20oz ounce cups, 16oz and smaller. Will buy again many thanks!
