    • Quiet, but 40% is a challenge
This is exceedingly quiet. My previous dehumidifier had a very loud compressor. With this new unit, all I hear is the fan. I can't hear a compressor. Yet the humidity went down from 58% to 41%. It's set for 40% but it doesn't seem to ever get there. It's been running continuously since I bought it about 2 weeks ago. It's located in a basement space of about 900 sq. ft.
