I’ve been wanting a dining nook since my dining area in my kitchen is limited, but all the nooks I’ve seen looked cheaply made.. then I came across this nook that looked sturdy and well made and decided to try it based off other reviews that stated exactly what i wanted in a nook, which again was to be well made. Price tag was a little much but reviews said it was worth it. So we ordered the Cherry ! I think it looks a little darker in person based off my table and some other people’s reviews maybe I’m wrong. The boxes it came shipped in were pretty beat up so I was a little worried.. But as far as I can tell while setting up the table and now that it’s finished, nothing is at all damaged. All parts accounted for. While setting it up we could tell how well made this table is, it is so thick and sturdy! Its SO easy to put together. The long and short bench are interchangeable BUT you need to get the sides of the bench from the other box! We were reversing the long and short part so technically we messed up and had to go back and switch the sides by using the sides from a different box, so be aware of that. Also, the shorter side of the bench is 56’’ BUT the leg of the bench does not allow it to sit flush against your wall so it sticks out farther than 56’’ so now it’s sticking out farther than my wall unfortunately.. That’s my only complaint. Storage will be great to have. Does not smell like other people have stated , maybe slightly but really not at all bad.. Overall really great table , very happy with the purchase. I do wish the price was a little better but I am happy with the purchase forsure. ... show more

This table is insane! This is by far the most amazing and comfortable table we’ve ever had and we’ve had a few even gone through Ashley’s. The set up of this table was easy and took less than an hour. My only problem was how bad it smelled of polyurethane but after we set it up we washed it down with some soap and water and aired out the house and that helped. It’s very solid, gorgeous and perfect for our family of six. The price is definitely a lot but it’s nice to know that we will finally have a table that will last us a long time and is made well. This is a solid, well-built set. It comes almost fully assembled, all you need is a quality drill and the right drill bit. I have a toddler who walks all over it, hangs on it, etc. It will never tip, very heavy and sturdy. The two drawbacks: 1. the grooves get food stuck in them (see other reviews) 2. the corner piece that touches the two walls - it has a very odd "trap door" type wood fitting. See second photo. Very sturdy. Packing material very subpar. Surprised most arrived without damage. Problem was mainly using boxes made of recycled cardboard, which is absolutely lame material. Instructions are ok, if you need. Finish is pretty good. Hinges and unit functionality is solid. We ordered a plastic top to avoid "crumbs in the cracks." Many other reviews cited damage, and we had a slight issue, which, fortunately is out of view when assembled, but filled crack with wood glue as well. All in all, a good product. Shipping was confusing, It comes in 4 packages and I only could find 1 shipping number. I’m sure user error. I will say once I got all the pieces in and assembled it does look like a beautiful table. I’m 450lbs and it feels very stable for me. Seats 6 confutable and could possibly fit more snug.

This ordered arrived in 4 large boxes on different days. We set up the benches as they arrived and unfortunately the table arrived damaged with dents and chips on the visible surface. Seller offered a very small refund instead of replacement. Then said it’s sold out and offered 20% refund!! Very dissatisfied with the outcome. Upon reading reviews I see that this is a common outcome for others as well. However, the set overall is sturdy and would have fit nicely. The color is as described for the most part. The benches differ slightly in color due to the distressed look of the white that we picked but it’s not too noticeable. I wish the table wasn’t messed up or that the third party seller would have made things right. Again, disappointing. ... show more

This set is beautiful and well made. Very durable for daily use too. All wood with bolts and precise pre drilled holes made for easy solid build.
