Quality- The heater is 4 years old and it still works. I'd say it's a good heater. I bought an older house where the heat is everywhere in the house except the bedrooms. The heater is used at night when we sleep every night during the cold season. It hasn't broken or malfunctioned to date. Works like new. Performance- The heater's not made for large spaces. It heats a insulated bedroom nicely so it turns off and gives itself breathers when the temperate reaches the set limit. I'm going to say the bedrooms we have are around 300-350 sq. ft. and lightly insulated. For anything larger, I'd look for a different heater. There's lots of options so don't settle on one you "like" that just might work. Instead, do your research and find a heater that is the correct heater for your situation. **Fact-People burn houses down in unimaginable numbers yearly because they buy these cool little heaters that aren't big enough for the area they are going to heat and so they run, and run, and run... if you have older electric wiring it's more likely to cause this than newer but it'll heat up until the house sets fire. So I stress for safety sake, get the appropriate source of heat and also get the appropriate size. I didn't get a discount or anything with this review. It makes me laugh because when I read reviews I immediately assume someone is being sneaky and lying but in all seriousness. Good product if it's what you need. ... show more

I really like this fan. It isn’t super loud, the different modes it has is awesome. It’s great for a medium sized bedroom, not to cool a larger area. I had issues with the fan making these creaking noises when it would turn but I realized in screwed the bottom piece on top right, once loosened a bit it worked fine. The timer on the fan is great. The LED lights do turn off after a few seconds. I do NOT like the remote. I barely works or responds. They should really fix that. I have tried close and further away, even when I touch the buttons lightly or mash them in, they (majority) if the time don’t do anything. I won’t return the fan because the fan itself is great. This fan is a lot like the 2 other fans I have from different brands. Low setting is calm, medium is the sweet spot, high is very strong. I run it nonstop. It has 4 screws in the back that allow you to VERY gently remove the casement and vacuum the blades if you need to, but be gentle and wiggle it. Usually vacuuming from the outside is sufficient but we had construction. My warranty has passed so it wasn't a big deal. It's a great midpriced fan. The remote control is awesome. ... show more

I donthinknthe proce helped on the decision to get this fan. I am a student and money is tight. But i think that this experience may have shown me that sometimes a lottle more money goes a long way. Dont get me wrong, it works well and saved my life in the summer time. But i am disapointed overall. I assabled with no issues but somewhat i ended up with a tilted fan tower. Later i fixed the tilt but the fan started makeing a weird noise. It is pretty loud when i turn it on. Dimishes over time but still it is annoying as i started to notice the noise after days of using it. This is a brand new fan, so i am bit annoyed. When I read the negative reviews for the fan, I said to myself the is the fan for me! I wanted a fan that I could use close to the window across from my bed that wouldn't blast too much wind at me while sleeping as other stronger tower fans I tried did. Those other fans caused me to wake up with long-lasting painful muscles that were exposed to the wind while sleeping even though I set the fan in motion to sweep across my body with a thin blanket cover. This fan really does the job without any noticeable wind noise as it provides a gentle natural breeze across my body while sleeping. When I awake from sleep, I don't have any noticeable aches or pains from the soft easy wind I slept with across my body. Great air flow. If you use oscillate, though, it is very squeaky because the pieces rotating are plastic and run against each other.
