We wanted a narrow fan to hide behind an end table. The vent is behind the couch so ait flow is restricted. 3 speed settings are fine, the high puts out reasonable amount of air but is a bit louder than we like, we'll live with it. Lower speeds are ok and quieter as you would suspect. There is a timer as well as constant operation which is nice. For price it is reasonable. It fits better in our narrow location than a round fan which seemed to be in the walkway, but moves a bit less air. ... show more

It does the job. My room was hot even with the AC. I didn't want to spend $100 on a fan and risk it being loud and just not what I wanted. This one is a bit shorter than I wanted but that's my lack of reading. It's really quiet but also makes enough noise to block out other house noises while sleeping. My boyfriend has a really expensive fan on his side of the room/bed with like 7 different settings and what not. Id say this one works just as well just more simple. ... show more

It’s a good fan. Even at level one the output is good. The only note is that after a couple of months of nightly use it has started making noises when oscillating.     • Shut off timer is not great for sleeping.

The breeze is great but the shut off timer is only for 2 hours. There is no option to operate the fan without the timer. Do no purchase this fan if you do not want to get up and restart the timer every 2 hours. I would have returned it but I threw the box away before noticing the shut off timer.

I have had this for a year and it works great. Quiet and nice breeze. It's gone up from $44 to $62 since I bought it but it is still worth it. The timer function is great. But you can use it without the timer.
