I bought this during the summer, but unfortunately it did not put out too much in my bedroom, I assumed based on the vent design alone that itd put out a wider range but i was wrong, output area is far smaller than what it seems to be. It's very much a silent device though, not noisy in the slightest. And because it does work, I decided to move it to the bathroom which is a far smaller space and keeps the room consistently cold. It's nice and quiet, and even on the low speed, it keeps my bedroom nice and cool. I did notice that the fan automatically turns off after 24-30 hours of runtime (I don't know exactly when it stops), so I just make sure I turn it off and back on before I go to sleep in order to ensure it does not turn off in the middle of the night. ... show more
